Kevin Costner's Ex-Wife Is Allegedly Badmouthing His Sexual Prowess

Kevin Costner's ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, is on a revenge mission. She's reportedly been dissing the actor's skills in the sack in the wake of their divorce finalization. 

According to new reports, the mother of three reportedly feels shortchanged by what she got and wants to make her ex the "laughing stock of Hollywood."

Baumgartner filed for divorce in May 2023, after 18 years of marriage to the "Yellowstone" star. In the filing, the cause of separation was listed as "irreconcilable differences."

According to Radar Online, Costner may soon face a reputational challenge regarding his sexual prowess due to his ex-wife's alleged ongoing efforts to speak negatively about their past sexual experiences.

The actor and Baumgartner were married for 18 years, up until the mother of three filed for divorce in May 2023. The divorce was finalized in September.

Costner came up on top during the divorce proceedings, in the support department, which lasted four months and made headlines all through the period.

Now, it seems that Baumgartner is on a revenge mission to "make him the laughingstock of Hollywood" by ruining his bad-boy image.

"Christine is reaping sweet revenge by trashing Kevin to anyone who will listen, saying he's a selfish lover who never satisfied her," a source shared. "It's amusing to people because Kevin has always prided himself on his reputation as a Don Juan."

The source also claimed that Baumgartner was dissing Costner's sexual prowess to anyone who would listen because she felt "she got the short end of the stick money-wise."

It appears Baumgartner had hoped that things would swing in her favor during the divorce proceedings and that the judge would throw out the prenup she signed when she married Costner in 2004.

However, it turned out otherwise after Costner's lawyers pulled out all the stops, including arguing that the actor was no longer receiving huge sums due to his exit from the "Yellowstone" series.

Ultimately, the prenup was upheld, and the child support Baumgartner requested was slashed from the original $248k to $63k. With Baumgartner losing out in her multiple court clashes with Costner, she was allegedly advised by her lawyer to "cut bait and run" by settling out of court.

Details of the settlement between the former couple remain unknown. However, it is believed that the Baumgartner received $1.5 million, which was the amount agreed upon in the prenup, in addition to other undisclosed fees.

Following the finalization of their divorce, sources shared that Costner was over the moon that he did not have to pay his ex more than what was necessary.

An insider claimed that the actor was privately "jumping for joy" that he came out on top, while another said, "It's not so much the money as exposing Christine as the gold digger he believes she's shown herself to be."

Meanwhile, one source noted that the entire ordeal took quite an emotional toll on Baumgartner, saying it was "a living nightmare," and now the mother of three "just wants to move on and start fresh and begin making her new house a home," per the Daily Mail.

Some other sources claimed that she regretted divorcing Costner "when she was living the high life with unlimited funds at her disposal, and everything paid for by her husband."

While the precise date of their separation was not publicly disclosed until May, court records later confirmed that Baumgartner officially recognized April 11 as their date of separation.

At the time, a rep for the "Yellowstone" actor also released a statement informing the public that the duo had decided to end their 18-year marriage.

"It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired that have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action," the statement read.

Adding, "We ask that his, Christine's, and their children's privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time."

The reason for the breakup in the court filing was "irreconcilable differences." Additionally, the former couple also requested joint custody of their kids, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.
