Travis Kelce's Ex Gets Cryptic About 'Therapy' Amid Taylor Swift Romance Rave

Kayla Nicole, who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Travis Kelce for five years, has shared another cryptic message on social media.

She posted a clip of her in a gym, calling it her "happy place," amid growing attention surrounding Kelce's rumored romance with pop star Taylor Swift. The post comes shortly after she reposted a message that read, "For the ones JUST watching to see if I'm going to make it. I AM." 

Nicole appears to convey her determination to put herself first in the face of public interest and speculation about her personal life. To do so, the on-air reporter uploaded a selfie recording that featured her in a white bra top with spaghetti straps, gray tights, long white socks, and workout sneakers.

Thanks to her outfit of choice, viewers can see the tattoo peeking out from under one of her boobs, taut abs, and hips. For accessories, she wore a silver bracelet and a cute gold necklace with a pendant and used a bandana to tame her short black hair. 

Holding a bottle of water in one hand, the Pepperdine University graduate kicked off the reel by pulling back from the mirror to show off her entire outfit. She then turned sideways to show off her ample derrière, standing in that position for a few seconds. Across the video, she wrote:

"back in my happy place. another day, another therapy session."

While we have no idea how viewers reacted to the Instagram Story, we know the update came a couple of days after Nicole unfollowed her pal, Brittany Mahomes, on Instagram. Not just that, the sports journalist also "un-liked" posts from Mahomes that she had previously liked. 

Even though the occurrence surprised many, especially since Nicole was a bridesmaid at the Mahomes' wedding in March 2022, it's not hard to figure out the why. During her relationship with Kelce, the fashion influencer attended Kansas City Chiefs games and spent time with Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. 

Despite their friendship extending beyond the romantic involvement between Nicole and Kelce, Mahomes had no problem transferring her affections to the latter's new girlfriend. The sports team owner was spotted spending time with Swift and other women, including actresses Sophie Turner and Blake Lively. 

Before the foursome enjoyed dinner at Emilio's Ballato in Soho, the former professional soccer player and the Grammy-winning artist were reportedly seen downing shots together and getting to know each other at a private Chiefs' afterparty in Kansas City. Fans suspect that these instances of Mahomes spending time with Swift rubbed Nicole off the wrong way, leading her to cut the 28-year-old off.

It's worth noting that Nicole isn't the only ex to react to Kelce's romance publicly. As The Blast reported last month, another of the tight end's former partners, Maya Benberry, had claimed that the man she "knew him to be" when they dated briefly in 2016 was an unfaithful one.

"Taylor seems like such a fun girl with a beautiful spirit, so I wish her the best of luck, but I wouldn't be a girls' girl if I didn't advise her to be smart! I'm sure by now she has mastered the ability to see who is there for her — and who is just using her. Only time will tell, but like the saying always goes: Once a cheater, always a cheater," Benberry had helpfully stated.

Eagle-eyed Swifties — as Swift's fans are called, recently discovered a connection between the "Bad Blood" singer and her beau that dates back months before rumors of their romance began circulating. A resurfaced video from Swift's TikTok account suggested she started spending time with the Chiefs player as early as July. 

In the video posted on July 29, the 33-year-old was seen riding a golf cart in the hallways of a stadium with Gigi Hadid and Patrick Ta while her father rode a Segway behind them. However, what caught fans' attention was the Pennsylvania native's outfit — a black hat, a sweatshirt, and a red-and-gold T-shirt underneath. 

The T-shirt, matching the Kelce's team colors, led fans to speculate that it was the Chiefs merchandise, prompting fans to comment on the video with excitement, as The Blast reported.

"Was this the soft launch? Did she send this to Travis with the 'I'm in your office' I need to know everything," one fan pondered, and another commented, "Taylor Swift IN A CHIEFS SHIRT!!!!?!!! Taylor, you have been telling us all along."
