Ethan Slater Reportedly Told Ex-wife He Wants To Live 'Full-time' With Ariana Grande In NYC

More ugly details continue to surface about Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater's rumored romance.

Just weeks after the "7 Rings" singer filed for divorce from her husband of two years, it has been reported that she and her new boyfriend Ethan Slater have taken their relationship to a new level.

The new lovers are reportedly cohabiting now. However, their new move was no secret to Slater's ex-wife, who is still mourning her failed marriage.

Sources close to the pair recently confirmed that Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater are now living together full-time in New York City. Per the insider, the lovebirds are happy about the big decision and so are those around them.

"They're really happy and really good for each other. All of her friends love him," the source said. However, what is most surprising is that the budding couple informed those around them of their decision to live together so quickly, including Slater's ex-wife, Lily Jay.

"Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife [Lilly Jay] that he’s living with Ariana full-time in New York," the insider claimed to US Weekly.

It is no surprise that the "Spongebob Squarepants" star didn't spare his estranged partner the details of his new romance. In July, when news of his affair with the "Sam & Cat" actress leaked, sources close to the Broadway star revealed that Jay had no idea her husband was leaving her.

At the time, a source claimed that Jay was "completely blindsided" by her husband's relationship with his "Wicked" co-star. The pair who tied the knot in 2018 were in a good place with the Tony Award winner dedicating a sweet Mother's Day post to her in May.

"Happy first Mother's Day to the most loving caring and wonderful mom/person in the world," Slater wrote alongside an IG post, which featured the shadow of their son. "- from me and this little guy."

It also didn't help that Jay and Slaton often went on "multiple double dates" with Grande and her now-estranged husband Dalton Gomez. "Ariana and Dalton went on double dates with Ethan and Lilly several times, and cast members saw them out. Lilly and Ethan also met Ariana’s family together, including her mom and brother," an informant confirmed.

According to a source, Slaton only informed the mother of his child about his romance with Grande days before tabloids leaked it.

"Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce. Lilly never saw it coming," the source claimed. "Ariana and Ethan weren’t careful. They'd hold hands on set in between takes. They were sloppy and not hiding it."

However, another insider alleged that wasn't the case, saying, "[They] were separated when they started dating and the relationship is recent. It’s understandable that it’s difficult to see an ex move on, especially in such a public way, and they are trying to be as respectful as possible."

Regardless of the controversy surrounding their relationship, Grande and Slater seem to be going full throttle with their romance. Such was the case last month when the pair, who met on the set of "Wicked," were spotted walking hand in hand and enjoying a fun outing at Disney World.

The two were seen looking cozy at the "happiest place on Earth" with the "Side to Side" songstress rocking a black hoodie, which she matched with a khaki pleated skirt and comfortable black shoes. Slater, on the other hand, opted for a black hooded sweatshirt along with loose-fitting black sweatpants paired with sandals.

Grande's arm was linked with her man's as they explored the park, wearing caps to cover their faces. However, their first public appearance as a couple wasn't well received by fans. "She literally has no standards and no self-respect, and that says a lot about herself," a fan lamented.

Another internet user remarked, "Y'all acting brand new like she doesn’t advertise exactly who she is. ‘Break up with your boyfriend, ’cause I’m bored," quoting the controversial lyrics from her hit song, "break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored."

This comment that bashed Grande read, "this is so distasteful. what a shame for someone who was such a role model at one point." Slater wasn't spared from the backlash with one user writing, "He's so small and still had an audacity to cheat on his wife. He should be there with his kid, not his mistress."
