Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's contentious divorce continues to reach dangerous boiling points!
New details about the estranged couple's battle reveal that things got so bad between them in late August that the police had to intervene and help "mediate" an agitated situation.
Kim Zolciak Says People Can Testify About Kroy Biermann Being Physical
The bizarre incident occurred on August 25 around 10 PM when the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star placed a 911 call, claiming her estranged husband barricaded himself in their primary bedroom and wouldn't allow her in.
"He has been threatening me. He won't open the door. This is insane to me," she told the 911 dispatcher, sounding frantic, before adding that she had to call a locksmith to access her medicine.
When asked if anyone has access to weapons, she answered, "I don't know. Kroy has guns I don't know what he does with them. They are probably locked up in his dafe." While talking to the dispatcher, Zolciak shouts nasty things at the NFL player, saying she deserves to be in her room.
"I'm not partaking in your behavior. I'm tired of you threatening me, open the door. This is my house too; you don't own this house. I have been more than accommodating," she yells.
When the dispatcher inquires if she is in danger, Zolciak reveals a damning truth claiming Biermann has gotten physically violent with her. In her words:
"I'm in danger. He is threatening me, yes and he has been physical before ma'am. I have many people who will vouch for that!"
Footage Of Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann's Nasty Fight RELEASED
Alongside the 911 recording, body cam footage of the altercation was obtained by TMZ. Biermann barricaded himself in the bedroom while the police tried to assess and handle the situation.
The Milton, GA, police officer was seen addressing a disheveled and emotional Zolciak, telling her "not to exacerbate" the issue and let them get her items from the room. She, however, argued, saying it wasn't fair.
In the background, Biermann is held shouting, to which the "Don't Be Tardy" star responds, "I just want to sleep in my bed." Nevertheless, the uniformed officer keeps begging for a "compromise" before approaching the bedroom door to talk to the former outside linebacker.
Getting irritated by the situation, the cop was heard telling the former Atlanta Falcons player, "Sir, if you continue down this road, it's not going to go well. You are now making me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe."
However, Biermann remained defensive, declaring that he hadn't done anything to the officer and that his "safety is in jeopardy." After a lengthy back-and-forth between the officers and Biermann, the former athlete finally obliges and hands over some items — a comforter, phone charger, medications, and neck cream — for his estranged wife.
In July, the controversial couple had a similar altercation, where police had to step in again. In the police footage, Zolciak, who was in a robe, kept crying, "he locks me out of the house; he locks me out of the shower."
The 'RHOA' Star Wants Divorce Axed But Biermann Refuses
Weeks before the damning footage and 911 call came to light, the 45-year-old shocked the world when she filed a request, asking that a judge call off their divorce because she and Biermann had been cohabitating and having sex.
An excerpt from the court document read, "The allegation of an irretrievably broken marriage is demonstrably false if the parties have resumed cohabitation or have reconciled for any period."
She also claimed that "marital relations between the parties occurred up until and then continued after the filing of the Petition, and after Respondent was personally served with the Petition, demonstrates that the marriage is, or was at some point viable after the filing of the Petition."
However, her filing received an immediate response from her estranged husband, who claimed he still wants to continue with the divorce, regardless of their thriving sex life.
"Petitioner has no desire to reconcile. The fact that he engaged in sexual relations with Respondent does not indicate a desire to reconcile," the court document read. "Petitioner, after this second filing, remains steadfast in his desire to divorce Respondent and leave the marital residence, even though the home is currently in pre-foreclosure."
