Actor Tyler Mane, who is famous for playing Michael Myers in the "Halloween" films, is warning pop star Britney Spears that playing with knives, even prop ones, is still dangerous.
Last week, the "Oops!... I Did It Again" singer made headlines when she started dancing on Instagram while holding fake knives and clinking them together. The video has since gone viral and has even led to some interesting parodies on TikTok.
Michael Myers Actor Tyler Mane Warns Britney Spears About Dancing With Knives
It only makes sense that Tyler Mane would chime in on the drama, given how many videos have been made on TikTok featuring Britney Spears and his "Halloween" character. TMZ caught up to the actor at LAX and asked him what he thought of Britney's viral video.
Although some fans have insisted that the knives have to be real based on the clinking sound that they make when she hits them together, Tyler admitted that it is possible that she could be using prop knives that just have dulled edges and a dulled tip to prevent her from hurting herself.
Even though they might have dulled edges, Tyler still warned Britney that they could still be dangerous if she isn't careful with them. It seems that the warning might have come too late, however, as the Princess of Pop sported a bandage on her arm and a cut on her leg only one day after her dancing video was posted.

Last Monday, the "Toxic" singer took to Instagram to share a video that featured her dancing barefoot in her living room with her dogs scampering around in the background.
“I started playing in the kitchen with knives today 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!! Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon 🙈🙈🙈 !!!” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.
Although she said that they were fake, many fans pointed to the way that the dogs scampered when she hit them together as a sign that they were possibly real.
The following day, she followed it up with another Instagram video that featured her dancing with a bandage on her wrist, a cut on her leg, and a bruise on her lower back. It is unclear how she sustained these injuries, but she made no mention of them in her caption.
“My ‘Pretty Woman’ top … kinda cool after my briefing on polka dots 😉😉🙄🙄🙈🙈🤓🤓 !!!! Swipe to see both !!!” she wrote at the time.

On Thursday, she wore a pink bathing suit and a white crop top to dance with knives once again. In the caption, she said that she obtained the prop knives from the Hand Prop Shop in Los Angeles and claimed that she was inspired by the dance that "Hips Don't Lie" singer Shakira performed at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards last month.
“I know I spooked everyone with the last post, but these are fake knives that my team rented from Hand Prop shop in LA,” she wrote in the caption of this Instagram post. “These are not real knives. No one needs to worry or call the police. I’m trying to imitate one of my favorite performers Shakira … a performance I was inspired by !!! Cheers to us bad girls who aren’t afraid to push boundaries and take risks 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼!”
On Wednesday night, however, local law enforcement officials showed up to conduct a welfare check at her home and make sure that she was all right after receiving many phone calls expressing concern for her welfare. It seems that she wasn't too happy with the check, as she called out the police in the caption of another Instagram post.
“Is it a joke in the news again with welfare checks??? Come on America … we cooler than that, right ??? The officers came to my home and said they would not leave until they spoke to me as people do 4 minute performances with them," she wrote in a post last week.
She went on to say, “I am getting an apology,” before adding, “I’ve been bullied in my home for so long now..ITS ENOUGH! Don’t talk about it, come on, let’s DO !!! As my mom does the silent treatment when paps ask questions about her own daughter as if I’m in the wrong…nope it’s an old game. People need to be responsible for their actions! It’s about power for cops.”
