Danielle Maltby Shares Cryptic Post Following Michael Allio Split

Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby fell in love during this past season of “Bachelor In Paradise.” Unfortunately, the two have decided to call it quits as Allio has just confirmed their split on a recent podcast appearance.

However, Maltby is saying the decision was not mutual, accusing Allio of dumping her just one day after her egg retrieval surgery.

The former reality television star took to Instagram to share a cryptic post, seemingly referencing her break-up.

"The ocean does not apologize for the space that it takes up. It does not make excuses for the depths that most people cannot handle," she began to write. "It cannot help but drown those who are not ready to submerge beneath its fathomless waves."

She added, "Let this too be a lesson to us that we may expand as far as we need, to not apologize for the way the others are not ready to submerge into our waters. For those who might tell us to come back to shore, when we've alwavs known we were made shaped, created for deep waters."

Fans immediately took to the comments section to show support for Danielle Matlby.

One fan expressed, "Michael was never ready to commit to another woman, unfortunately you got caught up in his insecurities and he dragged in he’s son into it as well. You deserve better and even though you may not see it right now that person is there waiting for you and will only have eyes and thoughts of you❤️".

Another wrote, "Love this??you did not deserve this at all. You deserve everything you are. Life gives us obstacles that we must conquer. Michael's loss big time. You deserve to be fully loved, not half. My goodness you embrassed all his mourning and took in the wight. You are a queen? Danielle Maltby opened up about her split from Michael Allio on her “The WoMed” podcast, where she accuses her ex of dumping her just one day after her surgery.

“What’s hard in talking about this really isn’t the procedure itself, it’s what came after,” Maltby said. “The day after Michael and I got home from freezing my eggs, he … he broke up with me and I was very, very blindsided by it. Obviously [I’m] still very emotional and hurt and confused. I still don’t really have any answers. I’m in it.”

She added that “to have to come down off of the hormones while being in complete shock” was tough to handle. “[I was in] complete physical shock. I was completely blindsided.”

“I’m grieving the loss of him. I’m grieving the loss of the future that I really believed in and I’m grieving the loss of James,” Maltby said referring to Allio’s son, James, whom he shared with his late wife, Laura. “And I’m grieving the loss of safety that I felt with him for the first time.”

The “Bachelor In Paradise” star then confessed that Allio was “the first person that ever made me feel safe in a relationship, that made me feel like I was enough.”

She said that now Allio broke it off with her, and now that her security with him has been “taken away,” looking back on her egg retrieval surgery is “really hard”. “I was so proud of myself [in that moment]. Michael took great care of me. It was a very love-filled weekend,” Maltby explainied. “I was able to freeze eight eggs. Which now I am just incredibly grateful for as now I am alone.”
