Fans of Florence Pugh would love to see her switch up her style!

The "Don't Worry Darling" actress came out swinging on Instagram against netizens who didn't like her sheer see-through pink dress in July 2022, as many of the comments were made about the size of her chest and the shape of her body.

The 27-year-old actress has continued to wear sheer outfits to many of her later fashion events, but even her fans seem to be getting tired of the look, calling some of her red-carpet designs "not flattering."

Florence Pugh Fans Say It’s ‘Almost Shocking How Bad’ Her Latest Sheer Dress Is!

Just one day ago, the Pop Culture Chat Reddit community discussed the “Black Widow” star’s new look, sharing a few photos with Pierpaolo Piccoli, Valentino’s Creative Director. Although the top half of the dress looks like a two-piece swimsuit, the rest of the dress is sheer and descends all the way to the floor.

“A huge sheer dress on Florence?” a user named billyshakes asked before adding a GIF that read, “Groundbreaking.” Another user named tabxssum added, “Free her from the shackles of sheer dresses [please]. First, we defeated Kate Young, now it’s her stylist.”

A user named Tubereusebaies wrote, “She needs to find one that could dress ladies with short torsos. Her outfits are always ill-fitting. Sabrina Carpenter is much shorter than her and she always looks good! Because it’s tailored to her figure.”

“I thought a lot of her looks on Don't Worry Darling were more flattering than many of her red-carpet looks,” a user named candleflame3 added. “Not that she has to do fifties-housewife every time, but there are red-carpet versions of some of the basic lines and proportions that flatter her.”

“Will someone please dress this woman as a human, instead of as a rock?” another user named music_haven jokingly asked while a user named starr9489 added that they were “not a fan of the wilted bow in the middle of her chest just flopping down.” Another user named FutureCelery83 called it “sad bow vibes.”

A user named lmnsatang wrote, “Wow, the dress is SO unflattering, especially on the top. It’s almost shocking how bad it is.” However, not everyone agreed, with Slagathor_85 writing, “You need to free yourself from the shackles of ‘flattering’ and stop dressing for what other people find acceptable.” Still, lmnsatang doubled down, writing, “An ugly dress is an ugly dress.”

'I love Miss Flo but I'm so tired of her doing a disservice to her attractiveness'

“This woman has a single look and it’s boring me,” another user named AStarkly chimed in. “Same. And I’m over the pantless look,” CaptainCAAAVEMAAAAAN agreed.

Another user named NickSess wrote, “I thought if I commented I hate this look, the girlies would come after me! But after reading everyone else’s thoughts…..it seems like a mutual feeling. Love a risk-taker but I feel like nothing ever fits her correctly. Plus, we have seen this from her too many times. C'mon flo!”

Raunchybiscuits agreed, writing, “I have less of a problem with the fit of this dress but the cut is not flattering. The straight vertical drop of the bust makes her torso look much shorter than it actually is. She is free to wear what she wants but the cut would be much more fitting for a much taller person.”

Puppy Brother was also in agreement, responding, “Yes, it’s simply just not dressing to flatter or suit for her body type but the more I think about it, the more I think that it’s cool that she wears whatever she likes and wants regardless of her shape. I’ve got a pretty similar frame to hers and it’s refreshing to see it on the red carpet. Even if it’s not the most flattering cut, she looks like she is feeling it and is confident as f---, which is what clothes are meant to do and what fashion should be all about!”

GoldieLox9 shared, “I love Miss Flo but I'm so tired of her doing a disservice to her attractiveness. I hate her outfits and her hair and that bull nose ring.” A user named over-activebladder agreed, writing, “Thank god you said it. That nose rise HAS to go. It cheapens the whole thing out AND she just doesn’t have the face nor the attitude to pull it off. AND it’s too much: her height, the hair, AND that bull ring? Pick ONE!”

Florence Pugh Fans Wonder If A Sheer Dress Is Really Even 'Risk-Taking' Anymore

A user named mocha___ ventured that a sheer dress isn’t the “statement” that it once was. “Like, is a sheer dress even risk-taking anymore? It seems to be what we mostly see now and it seems to be the only type of dress Florence Pugh wears at all,” they wrote. “Which is wild, because she's beautiful, clearly has a love for fashion as she's at every fashion event ever, and could probably rock so many different outfits effortlessly. Yet, it's always this. All the time. I have started to convince myself it's all the same dress just quickly tailored a different way before she heads out.”

Another user named frolicndetour agreed, writing, “Same. Like ok if you want to wear a skimpy dress but like...all the time? It's just like okay... yawn at this point. We've all seen your business so now it doesn't distract me from how ugly the clothes are, too. I actually really like her and think she deserves so much better sartorially.”

One fan named ComplainteBeautiful30 teased, “She got one more time to wear a big sheer dress…” prompting mocha___ to reply, “Nope. She’s cut off. Someone get into her closet and stop this.”

Judging by her latest Instagram statement, though, it seems that the 'Midsommar" actress could really care less what fans think of her clothing choices!
