Aaron Rodgers At MetLife Stadium Riding Golf Cart Ahead Of 'SNF'

Future NFL Hall of Famer and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers was spotted riding into MetLife Stadium on a golf cart, holding onto his crutches, just three weeks after his season-ending surgery.

The 39-year-old is expected to be on the sideline of the Sunday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Just days after Rodgers left the game, he broke his silence on the season-ending injury, writing, “Thank you to every person that has reached out, called, texted, DM’d connected through a friend, etc. It has meant a ton to me, and I’ll try and get back to all of you soon ?❤️. I’m completely heartbroken and moving through all the emotions but deeply touched and humbled by the support and love. ? Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I begin the healing process today. ? ♾️ ❤️”.

The quarterback then wrote a quote. “The night is darkest before the dawn. And I shall rise yet again,” he said before concluding, “Proud of my guys, 1-0 ?️ #.”

Since then, the Jets have yet to win a game and are now 1-2. Hopefully, that will change as the future NFL Hall of Famer was spotted inside MetLife Stadium, riding a golf cart. He is expected to be on the sideline at tonight's game helping to coach quarterback Zach Wilson as the Jets take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Jets head coach Robert Saleh spoke out after the season-ending surgery, admitting he hopes Aaron Rodgers still sticks around the club to help mentor and coach quarterback Zach Wilson, who will be taking over the starting position.

“I think it’s essential,” the coach said. “I think it’s important for him. Mental health and healing, I think that’s very important. But his presence, his words… As I said, he’s as much a football coach as a player, and just having his presence, thoughts, words, and leadership, I think anyone would want that.”

Rodgers was not able to fly to the facility, however, he has been FaceTiming the team to help give advice and coach from afar. Now, doctors have cleared the NFL quarterback to fly -- and he is in attendance for the big Sunday Night Football game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The official New York Jets Instagram page shared a video of Aaron Rodgers on the back of a golf cart, welcoming him home.

Aaron Rodgers will be in attendance for the New York Jets game tonight against the Kansas City Chiefs. It is expected the future Hall of Famer will help coach quarterback Zach Wilson during the game.

Rodgers also showed up at the team's facility yesterday to help coach Zach Wilson ahead of Sunday's game. "The fact that Aaron Rodgers is back this fast to support the team & help out Zach Wilson is just so incredible, & you just know the guys are gonna be SO hyped with him there," Harrison Glaser reported.
