Just when you thought you'd heard it all.. think again.

A couple is now suing Walt Disney World after the woman in the relationship claimed that a water slide at Typhoon Lagoon caused a painful “wedgie” and injury.

The lawsuit filed in Orange County, Florida states that the 200-foot water slide, Humunga Kowabunga, located at Typhoon Lagoon, was the reason the woman was sent to the hospital.

Humunga Kowabunga is a 200-foot water slide, similar to Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach -- Disney's other water park -- that allows Guests to slide down a steep slope without any type of raft. Guests cross their arms and legs as they slide down the slope with nothing but their bodies. Disney describes the ride as, "Brace yourself for the ride of your life as you race down Mount Mayday at a 60-degree angle. These 3 side-by-side enclosed body slides make for some high-octane thrills. You won’t know what’s coming as you zoom 214 feet downhill in the dark and spray your way to a surprise ending!"

A woman, who says she went on Humunga Kowabunga claims she was “slammed downward against the slide" and hit the water at the bottom of the slide, the force caused a "painful wedgie" and "serious injuries" to her private areas.

According to the court filing, the impacts of the slide caused her swimsuit to “be painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her.”

She ended up going to the hospital for treatment where she was seen by a specialist for the injuries, ultimately suffering severe lacerations, damage to her internal organs, and a hernia, according to the lawsuit.

The lawsuit also states that if the woman had been warned that there was a risk of a “painful wedgie and injury,” she would not have ridden the slide or she would have worn proper protective swim attire.

The couple accuses Disney of negligence and is suing for more than $50,000.

Another woman recently sued The Walt Disney Company after being involved in an incident that led her to get “trapped” inside the Monorail doors.

According to the new lawsuit, the incident occurred on March 24, 2023. Rebecca Vanturini was in “excruciating pain being stuck between the monorail doors for a few minutes,” per the lawsuit. “About five male guests tried to pry her loose from the monorail doors and eventually got her out.”

The lawsuit also stated that Disney’s “Cast Members did not help in any way”, adding the “monorail captain got on the intercom and stated there was a malfunction and the monorail would be shut down to restart the system immediately.”

The three-page Orange County lawsuit also stated that Vanturini had “a permanent injury to her body”, though further details were not stated. The lawsuit also does not mention how the Monorail malfunctioned.

Rebecca Vanturini is suing for more than $50,000.
