The professional ballroom dancer sat down with Burke on her podcast per iHeartradio and spoke up about an unpleasant experience with two partners. Burgess said these people made her uncomfortable and displayed absolute disrespect on the dance floor. She said:

"I have in the past had two partners that made me feel very, very uncomfortable. At the time I was much younger and I would laugh it up and suck it up and I would make it ok."

The legend reports that her partner was sexually suggestive around her and then became frustrated as she didn't return the energy. Burgess even disclosed that a producer advised her to get along with the program when she spoke up, stressing that Burgess should "know what men are like."

"I learned during and after Me Too, women coming forward and saying, from the big to the little things, I was like holy sh*t that happened to me, I didn't even realize that I could speak up about it." said the 38-year-old.

She has since learned how to defend herself, even in another situation where she saw that she and her dance partner were being watched uncomfortably. She said:

“That was a difficult situation for me. but I went through the proper channels, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to record everything, but I was able to record some things, and I did do the proper things, and there were reports made, and I was taken care of."

You were uncomfortable, that's a complete sentence." A relaxed Burgess added that she did the right thing and could work without living in constant "shame or fear."

Speaking of podcasts, The Blast recently shared that the dancer and her partner, Brian Austin Green, launched their new podcast. The new project titled "Old-Ish" is run alongside Randy Spelling and features all the scoops about their personal life.
