While the entertainment scene has become riddled with celebs touching up their appearances to become perfect, Collins has a staunch policy to maintain her natural looks. The Golden Globe winner opened up about this decision during a recent interview with The Guardian, following a compliment on her flawless skin. She emphatically stated:

"I've had nothing done. I couldn't do all that. First of all, I'm needle-phobic. It was my mother who told me to moisturize and use night cream."

The CableACE Awards nominee also mentioned that she takes precautions to avoid sun exposure and has shared these skincare tips with her daughters. Apart from using her mom's tips to keep her skin nourished, Collins has had a remarkable and enduring career in the entertainment industry.

Initially playing "bad girl" roles in her early movies, her journey began when she was cast as a juvenile delinquent in the film "I Believe in You" at the age of 17. In 1955, she signed with 20th Century Fox and was promoted as the new Elizabeth Taylor, although she never quite achieved that level of fame.

The People's Choice Awards recipient then took a break from movies in the 1960s to raise her first two children — daughter Tara Newley and son Alexander Newley. She made her return in the early 1970s, venturing into the horror world with movies like "Tales From the Crypt."

As the 1970s neared its end, the "My Secrets" author transitioned to a different genre, earning a rep with successful sexy films like, "The Stud" and "The B—." However, her most iconic role came as the scheming narcissist Alexis Colby in the U.S. soap opera "Dynasty."

Besides having an enviable acting and writing record, and the skin to go with it, the "Happily Divorced" alum has also been vocal about the Kardashian-Jenners' knack for undergoing cosmetic procedures.

Per The Blast, she had used the pages of her 2021 memoir, "My Unapologetic Diaries" to slam them for the move. Despite being a close friend of the family's matriarch, Kris Jenner, she expressed:

"Kris is a good friend of mine and I don't want to be rude about her children, but there's an awful lot of surgery there and I've talked to my friends about it, as I'm sure you have too, the bottoms, the tiny waists."

Collins proved that the problem went beyond the Kardashian-Jenners when she addressed "The Big Valley" actress Linda Evans' surgery as well. She wrote in the book:

"Are you supposed to ignore somebody when they come in with tape on their eyelid? Everybody was taken aback and wondering what she had done?"

The "Health, Youth and Happiness: My Secrets" author also didn't shy away from critiquing modern trends, such as cosmetic procedures like "nip and tuck," and she appears unapologetic about her views. On that, she penned:

"Am I the only one who thinks there's an obesity crisis? Those lips people have done, I think they look ludicrous. I'm sorry. And if people want to go round looking like that I'm going to laugh at it."

While her views on such matters might resonate with some people, they could also be met with disagreement from others. However, regardless of those differing opinions, Collins doesn't seem concerned about voicing her perspective.
