Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb was carted off the field last week after suffering an injury to his knee.
Many believe the incident was not only season-ending -- but career-ending. Now, an MRI has confirmed otherwise.
Nick Chubb's NFL Fate Revealed
NFL reporter Adam Schefter has just revealed the news that many NFL fans are relieved to hear -- Nick Chubb's nasty knee injury is not career-ending.
"The knee injury suffered by Cleveland Browns' Nick Chubb is not considered career-ending, with initial tests revealing the running back only tore his MCL, according to sources," Schefter reported. "Sources said that while Chubb's ACL was stretched on the play, doctors do not believe that the ligament is torn. Surgery is likely to happen this week and sources said the hope is that more damage is not found. Chubb's recovery timeline is expected to be 6-8 months, sources said. "I never would bet against Nick Chubb," one source said in relation to a quick recovery and comeback."
Fans instantly flooded the comments section, sharing their happiness. "Holy s--- he really built different. You love to see it ๐๐๐," one fan commented as another chimed in, "Thank god. Idk how his knee didnโt explode with every ligament torn.".
Another commented, "This makes me so damn happy!".
"Prayers up! Love this guy โค๏ธ๐," one NFL fan said.
Many others expressed how happy they are to hopefully see Chubb return. "He got super lucky thatโs amazing," one said while another commented, "As a Vikings fan glad to hear it's not career-ending. What a great football player, would be a shame to see him not suit up again in the near future."

Many believed that NFL player Nick Chubb suffered a multi-ligament/dislocation injury to his left knee. Luckily, an MRI shows that was not the case and Chubb is expected to play in the NFL in the future.
Pittsburgh safety Minkah Fitzpatrick spoke to reporters following the injury, saying he did not injure Chubb on purpose.
"It's very unfortunate. It's a tough, tough injury," Fitzpatrick said, via ESPN. "Unfortunately, part of the game that we play. I know there's people that (thought I) had ill will behind the tackle. It's not the case whatsoever. I'm a guy that's a competitor who's going to go out there and play the game. I'm chippy. I'm edgy, of course, but I'm not a dirty player. I'm not going to sit here and defend my character. I know the type of player I am. Chubb knows the type of player I am. I've played against him a bunch in the past. Five years, two times a year. I love competing against him. He brings the best out of me, and I bring the best out of him."
The NFL player added, "No chance that I would ever try to purposefully injure somebody. Unfortunate event. We play a physical game. People get hurt, and you know, people sit behind a screen and tell me how I shoulda done it or what they would have done and they've never played the game. It's a fast game. Things happen.
