Britney Spears Fans Ask Why She Is Trying 'So Hard To Sabotage Herself'

Fans of pop star Britney Spears are really starting to question why she continues to post her controversial Instagram videos.

Although her posts certainly do attract attention, fans are wondering if she is actively trying to "sabotage" her own chances for a career comeback or trying to make a subtle call for help.

Although the "Hold Me Closer" singer briefly deactivated her Instagram account last week, it was back up and running within a day. Although she has deactivated her account several times in the past, it is usually never down for long.

"Britney, I am wondering why such a pretty, young talented lady would try so hard to sabotage herself. You’ve been blessed with so much so why do you continue to be negligent and try to throw it away?" one fan asked on a Facebook post announcing her brief Instagram hiatus.

"Well, just goes to show that MONEY doesn't buy happiness," another follower remarked. "She was medicated for years against her will. Her brain is fried. She is never going to be normal again. I feel sorry for her," a third fan chimed in.

"She has Bi Polar Disorder and her behaviour is very indicative of her being in a serious manic phase. Either she isn't taking her medications or they need to be adjusted," another follower suggested, while another fan noted, "Judy Garland was also drugged like this and it shows how abused they were. They might become friends in heaven."

"Sorry but this is a person crying for attention; something isn’t right with her," another follower wrote. "She's definitely lost it. Lost her pride, lost her dignity. Lost her self-worth. This poor girl needs help. She's acting out for attention," another fan agreed.

"We are all watching a very unstable mentally young girl in a woman’s body doing what she’s been taught. She’s a performer that’s all she knows. She has never matured passed the age of 12. It’s sad she needs guidance and fast before she goes too far to come back," another follower ventured.

"The reason I call her a young girl has nothing to do with her physical age but more to do with her mental age," they continued. "People who suffer trauma will usually be stuck in that mental age until they get some help and are able to mature. Nothing funny about it."

"She really needs help. You can see that just by looking at her. Surely she has family or friends who can help her?" another fan asked. "You can't help those who don't want to be helped and I think this is the case here. She obviously has a strong denial and is oblivious that she has no issues," another follower replied.

Although she was freed of her controversial 13-year conservatorship in November 2021, many fans feel that the Princess of Pop still needs some sort of guidance to help her get back on track.

"She just cannot help herself. Mania or drugs, no wonder she needs guardianship. Not to the extent it was but I have been close to bipolar and a lot of times their impulsive and just all over the place with bills and such," another fan shared.

"She just cannot help herself, can she?! No wonder why she needs professional guidance! It’s sad that her family abused her over the years! What a mentally unstable, self-centered woman she is! She has never… never matured up and has never been around the right crowd of people! Always associates with the wrong people!" another follower remarked.

"No wonder why nowadays her sons Sean and Jayden don’t wanna see her and don’t wanna have nothing to do with her," they continued, referring to her two teenage sons who recently moved to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline.

"It’s time for her to stop living in a fantasy world and then get to the final point of getting the help she needs before she ends up in a serious mental breakdown! Because technically that’s the last thing I could see happening to her," they concluded.

However, not everyone felt that Britney's dancing videos were that provocative. As one fan asked, "Why? What is she doing wrong? Dancing? Get a grip kiddo."
