Actress Salma Hayek is a friend to people and animals alike!

The 57-year-old Mexican-American actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a video of her sitting on the beach next to some seagulls and even fishing pollution out of the ocean in a red two-piece bathing suit!

Salma Hayek Is A Friend To Animals In New Beach Video

On Tuesday, the “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” actress took to Instagram to share a highlights reel of her interacting with animals. She relaxes on the sand in a white cover-up and wide-brimmed hat, tossing food to some seagulls that gather around her. She even follows a large pelican on the dock and fishes what looks to be a large piece of plastic out of the water while wearing a two-piece red bathing suit.

She set the music in this video to Felix Thoma’s “Curious Animals” and dropped a few applicable beach emojis in the comments. “Animals love you because they know you have a gold soul. I love you, Queen,” one fan gushed. “Aww, love this,” another follower wrote. “Animals love you. It’s so cute because they know you have a good soul and that you are a good human,” a third fan agreed while other followers called her an "animal lover."

Salma Is Indeed An Animal Lover!

On June 5, Salma celebrated World Environment Day with an Instagram carousel that featured posing with different animals. She pets a bird in the first clip and even gets up close and personal with a llama in the third slide. The last two slides feature dogs running through a lake and two dogs standing around in the snow in a huddle as if trying to keep warm.

“This #WorldEnvironmentDay makes me think extra about the future generations and all the wonderful creatures that depend on our choices and it makes me want to try harder,” she wrote in the caption.

She also repeated her message in Spanish, writing, “Este #DíaMundialDelMedioAmbiente me hace pensar más en las futuras generaciones y en todas las maravillosas criaturas que dependen de nuestras decisiones y me anima a hacer un mayor esfuerzo.”

Salma Hayek Celebrates World Ocean's Day

In another Instagram video set to Billie Eilish’s hit song, “Ocean Eyes,” the “From Dusk Till Dawn” actress shared a video that featured her scuba diving in the ocean and meeting various marine life on her adventures.

“This #WorldOceansDay let’s reflect on our power to protect the ocean’s beauty,” she wrote in the caption. Here are three ways you can make a difference today: Say no to single-use plastics; Properly dispose of waste and recycle; Participate in community clean-up events. Together, we can make a difference.”

She repeated her message in Spanish, writing, “Este #DíaMundialDeLosOcéanos reflexionemos sobre nuestro poder para proteger la belleza de los océanos. Aquí hay tres maneras en que puede marcar la diferencia hoy: Di no a los plásticos de un solo uso; Disponer correctamente los residuos y reciclar; Participa en eventos comunitarios de limpieza. Juntos podemos hacer la diferencia.”

Salma Wants To Save Our Oceans!

The “Frida” star has shared many videos of her scuba diving on her Instagram page. In this Instagram video, she shared clips of her rummaging around on the ocean floor, cleaning up trash, and trying to reduce pollution in order to protect the marine life that lives there. Fans can watch her pick up rusty aluminum bottles off the ocean floor and struggle to put them into a mesh bag she is carrying with her.

“Underwater we all share the trash. Let’s all share the responsibility for a future with clean oceans and the survival of our beautiful and vital coral,” she wrote in the caption, before repeating her message in Spanish: “Bajo el agua todos compartimos la basura. Compartamos todos la responsabilidad de un futuro con océanos limpios y la supervivencia de nuestro hermoso y vital coral.”

The video caught the attention of This Is Project Sea, who commented, “Thank you for shedding light on the importance of protecting our corals! Join us next time you’re in Aqaba!”
