Demi Lovato & BF Enjoy Spooky Date Night At Universal Studio's Horror Nights

Demi Lovato has been in a thriving relationship with her boyfriend Jutes for a little over a year now, and fans remain mesmerized by their unrestrained affection.

The musicians confirmed their relationship in August 2022, and ever since, their social media has been filled with the cutest views of their romance, including memorable date nights.

One such date night was a horror-themed one, which Lovato recently gave fans a glimpse of, highlighting how much fun the couple had despite the eerie atmosphere.

The 31-year-old pop star accompanied her boyfriend to Universal Studios Horror Nights, where they had a blast, as seen on her Instagram Story. In one video showing the lovebirds on an escalator, Jutes kissed Lovato on the cheek while vibing to music playing in the background.

Amid the kiss, the "Confident" musician told her beau she was making a video, prompting him to say "I know now" twice, bringing his face closer to the camera. She also laughed at his reaction.

For the outing, Lovato looked striking in a white blouse underneath a black leather jacket, which she accessorized with silver hoop earrings and a matching chunky necklace. In contrast, Jutes wore a long-sleeve lemon green sweater, highlighting his neck tattoos, and paired with blue denim pants and a black baseball cap.

An ensuing clip, reposted from the "Bad Dream" singer's Instagram Story, featured only Lovato amidst a crowd watching several performers who donned spooky costumes.  One of the characters, dressed like a zombie schoolgirl, held a club and stopped in front of the "Heart Attack" songstress, making her look terrified before bursting into laughter.

Although Lovato's love story keeps inspiring fans worldwide, her love life was not always so enviable as she used to have "daddy issues," which she opened up about in a September 11 episode of "The Howard Stern Show."

The movie star revealed that she went through a "phase of dating older men and older guys" due to her daddy issues. Fortunately, her "amazing relationship" with Jutes has healed her. The "This Is Me" singer also mentioned, "My boyfriend is a year older than me, and we're growing together, and it feels so healthy."   

Looking back on her experience dating older men, Lovato described it as "gross," after which she gushed about her sweetheart, whom she was smitten with at first sight.

She recounted their first encounter, saying, "We actually met in the studio, and um, so he's an artist, but he's also a songwriter, so he came in to write on one of my sessions, and I was in the studio and was like immediately attracted to him."

The "Don't Forget" musician described Jutes as someone with the "best personality" she always laughed with.  She also voiced her desire to marry the 32-year-old songwriter, but he "hasn't popped the question yet."

Lovato explained that they were taking things slowly because she felt it was necessary, but she also believed Jutes was "the one" for her and would not mind building a family with him.  She raved more about their connection, calling it "so magnetic," especially with the way they laugh "nonstop" together. The New Mexico native then buttressed: 

"So I think if you can find someone that makes you feel safe, that you're so attracted to, that you laugh with constantly, that's the formula of a really great relationship."

Back in August, Lovato, who turned 31, received a perfect tribute from her partner. He began with a photo dump centered on affectionate and humorous memories over the months of their relationship including some views of them packing on PDA.

"Happy birthday to my best friend," the "Too Easy" musician announced in the caption. "You're obvs the most beautiful and talented person to ever do it. But more importantly, you're weird af, and u make me cry laughing."  

Meeting the "Camp Rock" alum clearly changed Jutes' life, and he admitted so, adding a promise to spend the rest of his life protecting her and making her laugh.
