Millie Bobby Brown Gushes About Fiancé Jake Bongiovi Being 'Involved' With Their Wedding Planning

In a recent interview on "Today" with Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb, Millie Bobby Brown, 19, revealed that her 21-year-old fiancé, Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, actively participates in their wedding plans.

The "Stranger Things" star, while promoting her book "Nineteen Steps," shared her stress-free approach to the wedding preparations, saying, "It's not been stressful at all for me."

"Jake is very involved. He is very helpful during the whole process. I have never felt alone in it, which I think is nice," she added, "I am like, 'Is this a good idea?' But ultimately, it's a very intimate day for both of us, and we are excited.'

However, the lovebirds haven't confirmed a date for their "intimate" nuptials.

During the chat, host Kotb inquired if the legendary Jon Bon Jovi, 61, would perform at their wedding. Brown playfully declined, comparing it to a full-on play. "I feel like that's like asking me to do a full-on play for everyone," she quipped.

She mentioned Bon Jovi's busy schedule with tennis and singing lessons, adding, "I think the man needs a break, he doesn't stop. He's always doing tennis or singing lessons."

Bush Hager chimed in, suggesting, "He can just be the father of the groom!" to which Brown agreed, saying, "That would be wild... I don't know if he'll be able to do just that."

The "Enola Holmes" actress had previously mentioned her excitement for the wedding in an interview with Women's Wear Daily. She emphasized her desire for a low-key celebration, valuing the intimacy of precious life moments and keeping them close to her heart.

"To have everyone's opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me," she explained. "So I feel it's important to keep those things — those small precious moments in life — really close to your chest."

Brown and Bongiovi, who announced their engagement on Instagram earlier this year after two years of dating, have a heartwarming engagement story.

Last month, the "Godzilla" actress revealed to The Sunday Times that Bongiovi proposed using her mother Kelly's ring, a piece she always admired. "I've always loved that ring, it's always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake," she said.

Talking about the proposal, Brown added, "They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me."

Brown and Bongiovi initially connected on Instagram in 2021, and Brown instantly felt that Jake was "the one." She recalled, "I was interested in him and wanted to know more. As soon as we spoke, I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life."

She continued, "I ran to my mum and said, 'I really, really like him!' After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other's side."

Brown emphasized the simplicity of knowing he was the right person to spend her life with, adding, "You can't pinpoint why, it's just the feeling of knowing that that's the person you want to spend the rest of your time with. I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn't really have to do much thinking."

Days earlier, Brown, accompanied by her fiancé Bongiovi, flaunted a stylish streetwear ensemble in New York, putting a contemporary twist on the classic tie-dye trend.

She sported a tie-dye dress by the British brand Joseph, ideal for the changing seasons. This maxi dress, made from merino wool, features a high neck and long sleeves, providing versatility for layering as the temperature drops.

Brown added a touch of sophistication with white mules, oversized sunglasses, and a fashionable denim-effect box bag from Louis Vuitton.
