Sophie Turner Is Smiling To The Bank Amid Her Divorce From Joe Jonas

Documents obtained by Daily Mail's Eden Confidential have revealed that Turner's company, Sophie Bee Enterprises Ltd, reported earnings of $371k. The 27-year-old possesses two investment properties in Maida Vale and Belsize Park, as well as residences in the United States that she shares with her now-estranged husband.

Initially, her parents managed the company responsible for her acting income through a trust. However, shortly before marrying Jonas, she assumed full control of the company, which owns these properties.

The actress also amassed significant wealth during her teenage years thanks to her portrayal of Sansa Stark in HBO's "Game of Thrones," a role she held from 2011 to 2019, culminating in an Emmy Award nomination for her performance in the final season.

In addition to the significant surge in her finances, the "Every Last Secret" star's social media following has also grown by the hundreds of thousands. Recent research alleged that Turner has gotten at least 156,266 new followers on her Instagram account since the news of her and the Jonas Brothers band member's split broke.

That boom is in direct contrast to Jonas, who garnered considerably fewer new Instagram followers, totaling about 54,243. Prior to this update, the couple had shared a joint statement regarding their decision to terminate their marriage. The statement read:

"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

The two stars first connected in 2016 when Jonas slid into Turner's Instagram DMs. At that time, she was 20 years old, and he was 27. A year later, they became engaged, and in 2019, which is notable as the year "Game of Thrones" wrapped up, they tied the knot.

In 2020, the former lovebirds became parents when they welcomed their first child together, daughter Willa. Their second daughter, whose name the public is yet to know, arrived in July 2022. While the duo have historically kept their marriage private, it seems that their divorce is set to be an entirely different kettle of fish.

As it stands, some intimate details about the divorce proceedings have already emerged, with closely connected insiders disclosing to The Blast that the ex-partners had a strong prenuptial agreement, which they both signed in the weeks leading up to their wedding, in place.

Given their individual wealth and prominence before their marriage, they engaged top-tier attorneys to establish a financial arrangement. According to the prenup, Jonas will retain all his royalties from his music career with his brothers — Kevin and Nick.

Similarly, any earnings or creations from DNCE, the "Do It Like That" singer's other band, will remain exclusively his. Additionally, Turner will rightfully keep her "Game Of Thrones" earnings and any residuals generated from her acting career.

Secondly, even though the couple have joint residences in Miami, Los Angeles, and the United Kingdom, the party who possessed these properties before the marriage will retain ownership.

The only property subject to division between the two celebrities will be their marital home. Typically, in cases involving famous and wealthy couples, such as this one, the marital property is sold, and the proceeds are divided between both parties.

Both Turner and Jonas will retain the rights to their image, likeness, and any businesses associated with their celebrity status. It is worth noting here that there has been no official indication about how they will handle custody and child support, as certain legal limitations apply.

In California, an individual cannot pre-negotiate the outcomes related to children in their prenuptial agreement. Ultimately, a judge has to determine custody arrangements and the children's place of residence in the event of a divorce or separation.
