“Meme King” Elon Musk got thrown off his high and mighty horse on his X app by rapper Ice Cube!

The “Ride Along” star took a big swing at the tech CEO, who ridiculed him on the app. Almost a month after the Tesla CEO announced he was out of memes, he seemingly sourced for more and made Cube the butt of his jokes.

However, there was no escape route for the billionaire entrepreneur as the “It Was a Good Day” rapper brought the heat on him!

Ice Cube Slams Elon Musk With A Scorching Meme

On Thursday, the “Barbershop” actor clapped back at Musk for trolling him on X platform. Musk had posted a meme collage roasting the rapper’s career. On one side of the collage was a photograph of the rapper’s face, and on the other was an image of a glass of water, implying that the rapper had melted.

Alongside the image was the caption, “Remember Ice Cube? This is him now, feel old yet?.” In no time, the 54-year-old hip-hop artist responded by criticizing the tech CEO’s controversial control of his social media platform. He posted a meme collage showing the platform’s former bird logo on one side and a burning dumpster on the other.

“Remember Twitter? This it now, feel stupid yet?” the “Friday” actor wrote in the caption. Cube’s response to Musk was no surprise, as he is known for clapping back at trolls online. In July, during an interview with Memphis’ K97 FM, he explained why he feels the need to fire back at his haters.

“You know, sometimes, you gotta buss on’em,” he said. “You can’t just always have’em incoming, you know what I mean? Sometimes you gotta hit the corner and buss on’em.”

He continued: “When you wanna talk slick to me on Twitter, you can expect to get a response. Lettin’ stuff slide, lettin’ it ride — I mean, I know there’s a bunch of bots. Sometimes, you gotta slap a bot, too, you know what I’m sayin’? You can’t take no stuff from no robots, either.”

He concluded, "At the end of the day, it’s really just about standin’ up for yourself and not lettin’ these folks talk slick to you.”

The Tesla CEO Announced He Was Running Out Memes

Musk’s provoking meme about Cube comes a month after he announced he was running out of memes. The SpaceX boss tweeted the sensational confession over an image of a cat sitting on a gas hob staring at a wall. “I’m running out of memes, “Musk wrote. “Nudes starting tomorrow.”

The ironic meme has since popped up on over 48 million X timelines, sparking reactions. Many platform users asked, “Is he joking?!” while other followers noted that they would follow suit if he did. One fan called Musk the “meme king,” tweeting, “Long live Elon.”

“So that’s why you renamed the platform to X,” another fan remarked, adding to the increasing amount of “X-rated” jokes that filled the comments of his post. An Elon Musk parody account added, “I’m excited to share my first X-Video too!”

While the social media mogul loves posting memes, the originality of the jokes has long been questioned by fans. Several users of the microblogging app have accused the tech billionaire of stealing memes and failing to credit the original creators.

X users have countlessly called out Musk, urging him to give credit to makers and retweet their memes rather than pass them off as his own. “Elon Musk really spent $44 billion so he could force everyone to read the shitty memes that he steals and reposts without credit,” one user wrote. “Possibly the biggest loser energy hitherto encountered among man or beast.”

Another user referred to the app’s new logo, accusing the billionaire of stealing it. “Given how often Elon Musk steals memes, I’m not surprised he’s stealing logos now, too,” the user wrote.

Elon Musk once responded to the allegations in 2022, writing, “Well, if you make something that looks like a meme & someone (not me) crops off your name, so it goes. Also, this is only a 6/10 meme, so maybe step down from that high horse! The selfless art of anonymous meme creators is something to be admired.”
