The three counts stem from Biden's alleged use of a gun while he had been under the influence of narcotics, NBC News reports.

The outlet also reports two of those counts are in reference to the President's son reportedly "completing a form indicating he had not been using illegal drugs" while Biden had purchased "a Colt Cobra revolver" back in the Fall of 2018. A special council, headed by Trump appointee Us attorney for Delaware, David Weiss.

The United States Republican Party are currently attempting to begin an impeachment inquiry into Biden Sr. following months of paying attention to his son's "foreign business dealings," according to Reuters. The publication notes the GOP have not found any wrongdoing by the President as of this writing.

The White House reported that in addition to the President's clean slate, the GOP "have no basis for an impeachment inquiry."

President Biden's reported involvement with his son's reported "business dealings" has been a strong point of contention for the GOP regarding a case for impeachment. The President's alleged involvement is believed to have taken place in the years Biden served as the 44th President Barack Obama's Vice President.

Hunter was reportedly given permission by his father to accompany him while on overseas trips at the time, per the House Oversight Committee. Biden served alongside Obama from 2009 until 2017.

Hunter's business associate, Devon Archer, reportedly told the committee that his associate's intentions were to "create 'an illusion of access to his father,' and link him with "foreign associates 'maybe 20 times'' during a period of a decade, Reuters also reported.

Archer maintains these conversations had nothing to do with business, and that Biden had not been involved in any questionable practices to his knowledge.

An FBI document from three years ago reportedly containing alleged information from an informant, regarding claims reportedly made by the head of a Ukrainian company wherein Biden served on its board of directors, was cited by Republicans in support of an investigation. The head of Burisma reportedly said "it costs 5 (million) to pay one Biden, and 5 (million) to pay another Biden."

Congressman Jamie Raskin would reveal the FBI would later drop the matter, on the basis of a lack of evidence, per Reuters.
