The world may have turned its back on Danny Masterson. However, his wife, Bijou Phillips, is not breaking her vows to the convicted rapist anytime soon.

The "That 70's Show" star's life took a severe 180 degrees turn following his 30-year prison sentence for raping two women. While the verdict brought justice to the victims, it spelled the end of the disgraced entertainer's happy family picture.

The New Yorker tied the knot to the "Raising Hope" actress in 2011 and welcomed a daughter with the TV personality three years later. Despite his conviction on rape charges, sources claimed the 47-year-old's longtime partner remains concerned about her beau.

Bijou Phillips Has Not Given Up Hope Regarding Danny Masterson's Rape Sentence

“She has had a very difficult time since the conviction,” the insider told PEOPLE. “She loves Danny and has no plans to file for divorce. She will be by his side for it all.”

Just as she is not quitting on her marriage, the mother of one plans to fight for her husband's case. The source added that Phillips had a strong support system of family and friends alongside her longtime beau's attorney.

“She is in touch with his lawyer. They are planning appeals. She tries to stay hopeful,” the insider explained. These claims matched reports from Daily Mail, where a separate source revealed Masterson had been in "daily" contact with his wife and daughter since his incarceration.

The informant stressed Phillips' willingness to support her husband while he was behind bars and echoed similar sentiments about the "Bully" actress's plans to appeal the entertainer's rape sentence. According to the insider, the 43-year-old hopes the "results of his sentence will be drastically changed or overturned."

"She is still holding out lots of hope that it will change, and he will be free,' the source continued, adding that the couple was being transparent with their daughter about the patriarch's absence. Although they answered "all their daughter's questions," the informant noted they were not "getting into the nitty gritty" details.

"It is extremely emotional and tough, and to harp on it is emotionally draining. The times that Danny talks to his daughter and Bijou, it is always about anything else than the obvious," the informant claimed.

"He continues to try to reassure them that it will be OK. Many tears have been shed, but they use the time to talk to each other about school and anything else," the source added. "There will be a time and place to fill in her daughter fully, but that is still a work in progress."

Inside Danny Masterson's 30-Year Rape Sentence

On Thursday, September 7, 2023, the "Joe's Life" actor was sentenced to 30 years behind bars after being found guilty of two counts of rape in a retrial. A Los Angeles jury previously convicted the disgraced entertainer of the sexual assault charges in May.

The forcible rape accusations were brought forward by three women, including a former girlfriend. However, Masterson pleaded not guilty to the three counts of felony rape that allegedly took place between 2001 and 2003.

The victims were members of the Church of Scientology, like the accused actor and his wife. As stated, the 47-year-old was found guilty of two rape accusations, while the third case brought forward by Jane Doe was declared a mistrial.

The third woman's case was dismissed after prosecutors refused to retry Masterson on the rape charge. At the time of his conviction, a source claimed Phillips was shocked by the outcome, noting the actress was “convinced he was telling the truth and that the jury would agree.”

“The devastation and reality of it all are at a level that you’d never even imagine. She’s had Danny’s back through this whole process and never thought this would be the result,” the insider continued, adding:
