Emily Ratajkowski Almost Suffers A Wardrobe Malfunction In Her Sheer Cut-Out Top

Emily Ratajkowski's appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards came with a bit of drama.

She attended the event in a stunning, edgy, sheer outfit that turned the heads of onlookers on the red carpet. However, later on in the night, the model suffered a wardrobe malfunction that further revealed some parts of her chest.

Ratajkowski's appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards almost took an unexpected turn due to a potentially embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.

The model turned up at the event, donning a stunning cut-out maxi dress that put on full display her well-toned abs. This unique outfit, crafted by the renowned designer Jean Paul Gaultier, seamlessly blended two distinct materials.

The upper portion featured sheer green fabric delicately draped across her breasts and around her midsection, while the lower section consisted of a skirt adorned with a striking black, orange, and green pattern.

Given the nature of the attire, it came as no surprise when the dress shifted as Ratajkowski rose to dance during the event. For a brief moment, there was a glimpse of underboobs, but she swiftly readjusted her outfit to its original position before further harm was done.

Ratajkowski complemented the outfit with gold strap heels and a black handbag. During the course of the event, she appeared on stage to present an award and also introduced Latin singer Karol G ahead of her performance.

Prior to her VMAs outing, Ratajkowski came through for OG supermodel Naomi Campbell, whose collaboration with PrettyLittleThing kicked off the New York Fashion Week.

The collection had on display 70 ready-to-wear garments, all designed by Campbell and up-and-coming designers Edvin Thompson of Theophilio and Victor Anate of Vicnate.

Once again, Ratajowkowski came looking gorgeous, wearing a yellow cowl-neck minidress made from sheer fabrics. The attire, which was also part of Campbell's collection, was cut out at its center, revealing a large amount of the model's cleavage.

To finish her look, Ratajkowski added golden earrings, carried a stylish black purse, and wore high-heeled sandals. She left her hair down, with a center part, and enhanced her makeup with brown smoky eyeshadow, coral blush, and nude lip gloss.

Over the years, Ratajkowski has ensured that her fans can also get a taste of her edgy sense of style through her fashion brand, Inamorata Woman. The brand, which the model co-founded with her childhood best friend Kathleen Hill, focuses on swimwear, lingerie, and clothing.

One of its recent standout pieces is the Lorelei crochet bikini. This outfit includes a two-piece set with an open-weave halter top and pants that mimic the look of seashells.

Last month, Ratajkowski was spotted showcasing the white version of this swimsuit ahead of its launch.

The supermodel flaunted her cleavage and her toned figure in the white variant of the swimwear late last month in a post on the brand's official page.

"Introducing the Lorelei crochet bikini," captioned the post on the brand's page. Subsequent posts from the brand featured the mother-of-one posing in the bikini, either standing or lying down.

Ratajkowski, who was previously married to Sebastian Bear-McClard, recently expressed her views on divorce in a video she posted on her TikTok account.

"So, it seems that a lot of young ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30," said the model, who shares one kid, Sylvester Apollo Bear, with McClard.

She added, "There is nothing better than being in your 30s, still being hot… figuring out what you want to do with your life… having tried that married fantasy and realizing that it's maybe not all it's cracked up to be and then you have your whole life still ahead of you."

The Inamorata Woman co-founder also captioned the video with a statement, "Personally, I find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30," doubling down on her comments in the video.
