Despite being married for over four decades, Sharon Osbourne's relationship with her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, remains more vital than ever, thanks to their unrelenting commitment.

The celebrity couple have been married since 1982 and share three children, Aimme, Kelly, and Jack, all featured on their famous TV show "The Osbournes."

Sharon recently dished out her long-lasting marriage to Ozzy, revealing an interesting detail of how they kept things going despite their difficulties over the years.

Sharon Osbourne Shares Insight Into Her Successful 40-Year Marriage To Ozzy Osbourne

The 70-year-old music manager opened up about her relationship with her husband, pointing at how their weirdness contributed to their successful marriage. "We're both oddballs," she revealed. "I might look quite normal, but normal is not a word I use often. We were two wild young people that found each other."

Sharon also admitted that while they are "cut from the same mold," their relationship has been through trying times, including when they briefly split in 2016.

She elaborated, "No relationship is easy; you must work at it. You get your ugly times, your bad times, and your horrific times. But if you love each other enough, you'll work through."

Not only did the British-American author and her spouse not give up on each other, but they also accepted one another for who they were. Sharon then emphasized the importance of acceptance to E! News, saying:

"They'll never be what you want them to be. You have to accept them. There are good, and there are bad parts. If you love them enough, you'll accept it and realize that you can't change it."

The Osbournes are widely known for their "unfiltered honesty," which Sharon credited for their fan's unending bond to her family. She believed if her family faked it, they would eventually be discovered, as nobody could get away with it. 

"We're basically like everybody else, and we don't pretend to be something we're not," she continued. "I think it's essential to know who and what you are. We have a certain rawness that people like."

As fans know, the celeb family's authenticity can be heard on their podcast "The Osbournes," which has returned after five years, highlighting details about their lives in the entertainment industry.

The mother-of-three reflected on the series, confessing that although it was hard to choose a favorite moment, most of her memories were of her husband, who had the most "classic" expressions. In addition, she sees the podcast as the "best diary that anybody could ever have," expressing her anticipation to have her five grandkids watch the series.

"That's the best gift I could ever give them," Sharon declared. "To know what their grandma and grandpa were like. 'Here it is, kids, the good, the bad, and the ugly!'"

Before the former "X Factor" judge chatted about the secret to her long union, she voiced her desire for her sweetheart to return to their London home from the US.

During an episode of their podcast featuring her two kids, Kelly and Jack, Sharon discussed the entire family's move from the States to the United Kingdom, as seen in a video snippet.

The group could be seen in their living room, with Ozzy agreeing they should go. He said, "We've been planning this for the last four f–king years." Sharon then explained to her son that while she could not plan anything, she wanted to return "home" and give Ozzy "a chance to live his life" as she believed they all could do more of what they wanted in England.

'The Sharon Osbourne Show' Host Was Attacked By Her Husband Early In Their Marriage

Sharon and Ozzy's relationship dates back to the seventies after their first encounter in 1970 when Sharon's father, Don Arden, managed Ozzy's band Black Sabbath. Nine years later, the "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" singer was fired from Black Sabbath, leading the former "America's Got Talent" judge to manage him.

They eventually started dating before getting married in Hawaii on July 4, 1982, after Ozzy divorced his first wife, Thelma Riley. Within the next two years, the couple welcomed their three children: first, Aimee on September 2, 1983, followed by Kelly on October 27, 1984, and Jack on November 8, 1985.

However, things did not go so well in the first few years of their marital union as the "Prince of Darkness physically assaulted his wife in 1989 and was arrested for attempted murder. 

Nevertheless, Sharon remained married to him, and years later, she mentioned in the "Biography: Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne" documentary that he got into treatment because of his actions.

In 2016, the lovebirds also faced a cheating scandal due to rumors about Ozzy having an affair with hairstylist Michelle Pugh. This resulted in a brief split, but they eventually reconciled and renewed their vows.
