Fans Bash Tish Cyrus For Spending Honeymoon In Hawaii Amid Maui Crisis

Newlyweds Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell are in their honeymoon mode, weeks after tying the knot in a fairytale Malibu ceremony. 

The duo are spending their vacation in scenic Hawaii, which recently suffered a series of wildfires, primarily on the island of Maui, that led to the death of hundreds.

Despite the distressing situation, Tish and her husband went ahead with their honeymoon, as seen in new photos, causing fans to immediately come for them, accusing them of being insensitive to the island's ordeal.

Tish could not hold back her excitement in updating fans about her honeymoon to Hawaii with Purcell. She revealed her latest item of obsession amid the romantic getaway using one stunning image on Instagram.

"I am truly obsessed with this bag from @july," the mom-of-five wrote in the caption. "Just took it on my honeymoon to Hawaii, and it was everything. It holds so much, and the front pocket is a game changer!"

She was seen holding the black bag in the attached picture, standing barefoot on a raised dais surrounded by greenery.  For the shot, Tish wore a lovely white sleeveless beach dress featuring a cutout on her waist and paired with orange sunglasses. She also left her beach blond waves to flow around her shoulders.

As magnificent as the Hopetown Entertainment owner looked, several fans were more focused on her and her husband's vacation spot as they dragged her in the comments section.

"Why tf did yall go to Hawaii right now.... of course, peace and love, but come on, tish," one comment read, followed by another: "There are bigger problems in Hawaii than a good travel bag."

A third critic declared that they would unfollow the talented momager as they did not need any "marotica," while a fellow user stated, "Hawaiians are literally begging for tourists [to] stop going to their land. It just had massive fires."

One more heartbroken follower who saw the post as "cool" noted that "the ppl of Hawaii lost children and relatives and their homes….?."

Tish's third child, Miley Cyrus, seemed not to share fans' disapproval as PEOPLE reported that she surprisingly joined the honeymooners on the island. A shot obtained by the magazine showed the mother and daughter pair sporting snorkel masks and flippers while Purcell appeared to be guiding them into the water.

Another snap displayed the "Flowers" songstress in a black bikini for the thrilling activity, compared to her mother, who rocked a blue bikini, a similarly colored baseball cap, and a white cover-up.

Less than a month before Tish and Purcell's honeymoon, the 56-year-old producer blessed her Instagram fans with a fun moment from their wedding ceremony. 

She was captured in her sweetheart's arms as he held one of her legs up, which was already on full display thanks to her eye-catching white dress featuring a thigh-high split. The talent manager complemented her dress with a fur coat, while her groom opted for a classic white shirt with black slacks.

"8.19.23 married my best friend, and it was magical," Tish announced in the caption, and in no time, well-wishers flooded the comments section with compliments, including Purcell, who expressed, "Love of my life."

The soulmates' nuptial occurred, at a majestic mansion in Malibu, and was graced by their loved ones, including some of the doting mother's children — Miley, the maid of honor, Brandi, and Trace.

Although Tish's wedding was a family affair, it was observed that the bride's youngest children, Braison and Noah Cyrus, did not attend the ceremony but chose to hang out together away from their family.

Pictures shared by a fan on X showed the siblings at Walmart with Noah wearing a graphic T-shirt with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus' face.

The X user pointed out what the "July" singer and her older brother were up to during their mom's wedding and added, "Hope Miley, Tish, Brandi, Trace will ignore [Noah's] wedding too. She is also wearing a Billy Ray t-shirt to make fun of @tishcyrus' wedding today."

According to Noah's social media update, Braison flew down to LA, where Tish's wedding occurred, to spend time with his sister, and they even had a sleepover on the wedding night.
