Model Heidi Klum is known as the Queen of Halloween and she has something "really extra" cooked up for this year's holiday.
Her 2022 costume, which involved her going as a life-size worm, got a lot of buzz online but proved to be rather controversial, even with her husband, German musician Tom Kaulitz, dressed as a fisherman trying to reel her in. Given the feedback she got from last year's costume, fans can't wait to see what she will wear this year!
Heidi Klum Teases 'Really Extra' 2023 Halloween Costume After Her Team 'Begged' Her Not To Go As The Worm Last Year!
While walking the “America’s Got Talent” red carpet last week, the judge told the Daily Mail that she has something really special planned for Halloween 2023 after going as a giant earthworm last year. “It’s going to be extra. It’s going to be really extra,” the 50-year-old model told the outlet, adding that she’s lost sleep trying to decide what to wear.
“I have had sleepless nights over it. You know me,” she teased before going on to admit that her team was not happy that the former Victoria’s Secret Angel decided to step out dressed as a giant worm. “They were like, ‘A worm, really’ They kind of wanted me to think of a plan B and a plan C, but I’m not like that,” Heidi said. “For me, it is Plan A.”
She went on to say that if you plan to “succeed in plan A, you have to really go after Plan A,” adding, “If you are thinking of all different other things, then it's not going to be a success or it's not going to be that major.” She admits that her plan A has been questioned in the past, but she always sticks with it.
“Everyone around is always like, ‘Think of something different. This is crazy. And the worm is crazy,’” she added, noting that “this time around” the “same thing” is happening, with her team begging her to “think of a plan B” with Halloween only a little over a month away.
Fortunately for fans, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model has absolutely no plans to give up on her plan A for 2023. “I have to admit, I love it. And then my gut, I feel like it’s going to be good,” she said of her costume idea, which she is keeping close to her chest for now.
“I never know if it will be good until the day, and I don't want to let my Halloween fans down. There are so many creative people around the world and I don't want to let them down,” she said. However, she did admit that her family “is not involved” in this year’s Halloween prep, so it seems unlikely that she and the Tokio Hotel guitarist will be sharing a costume.
Heidi Finally Reveals How Much She Weighs
In late August, Heidi took to her Instagram Stories for an Instagram Ask Me Anything. After a user asked her how much she weighed, she stepped on the scale to show that she weighed 138 pounds or 62.5 kilograms. According to the Daily Mail, the 5'9" model also said that she only eats 900 calories a day. However, she quickly fired back at that claim.
In an Instagram Story posted the following day (transcribed by Page Six), Heidi denied the claim. “I just got home, and some friends are sending me these articles that have been written that I only take in 900 calories,” she began. “One, I want to say, I don’t think I’ve ever had to count my calories in my life and don’t believe everything that you read.”
“So, I don’t count my calories,” she said. “Someone asked me how much I weigh, and I got on the scale and showed how much I weighed.” She also slammed those who “make up stories” which could be detrimental to the health of others.
“I don’t know. People just put things together and just write a bunch of cr*p, and it’s really sad because there really is no real journalism anymore,” she said. “One person writes it, and then everyone jumps on it, and it’s really sad because, you know, people read that and they think that and possibly follow that, and that’s not good.”
