The singer has revealed that her big day will reflect her classy taste, as she will walk down the aisle with her fiancé Rory McPhee at one of England's renowned wedding venues. Additionally, her dress will be a glamorous number made by a member of her former all-girl band, Spice Girls.

A year ago, Mel — full name Melanie Janine Brown MBE — surprised her fans with the announcement of her engagement to McPhee, whom she is older than by 11 years. The hairdresser had popped he question with a stunning champagne-colored diamond ring worth $177,000 at the luxurious Cliveden House in the United Kingdom.

According to Daily Mail, the 48-year-old shared some details about her upcoming nuptials during a recent conversation with 2Day FM's Dave Hughes, Ed Kavalee, and Erin Molan on their famous Australian breakfast show. Talking about where she wanted her special day to be held, the "America's Got Talent" longtime judge stated:

"Because I have an MBE, I can get married at the same place Princess Diana married Charles. I'm still waiting to hear back from St. Paul's Cathedral in London. We have put all our forms in, and we are just waiting on them to give us the day."

The "Voodoo Princess" presenter then disclosed that the bridal dress for the day would be designed by her former Spice Girls bandmate, Victoria Beckham. In her words:

"Once I get the date, I will go wedding dress shopping. Victoria Beckham wants to make me a dress."

The Leeds native's excitement can be felt through her words, especially after she gushed about finding solace and confidence in McPhee after enduring years of abuse in her former marriage to her second husband, Stephen Belafonte.
