According to reports, GMA host Roberts decided not to invite her old friends, Holmes and Robach, to her upcoming wedding to her fiancée Laign. This news comes months after the duo went viral for cheating on both their spouses and ending their marriages. Although Robach and the Roberts were friends on the network, the 62-year-old does not want to be associated further with the scandal.

A source close to the TV personality proved this point with their statement to TheU.S. Sun. They said, "Amy and TJ are not invited, and Amy is furious about it. She and Robin were far more than work colleagues, they shared a deep friendship."

The insider added that Roberts only invited people who still belonged in her "very tight and trusted circle of friends."

Radar Online had also reported that Roberts was upset at the news of the affair. She allegedly felt that it affected her image as a co-host on the network despite not being linked directly with the scandal. Roberts also believed that the secret relationship unexpectedly "tainted her brand" and blamed the network for handling things in a "messy" way.

According to The U.S. Sun, a source close to Robach alleged that the former anchorwoman was equally upset at Roberts for excluding her and Holmes from the wedding. Robach believed that their friendship was very important to her and felt betrayed by her decision to cut ties.

Per the source, Roberts had enough influence at ABC to prevent the scandalous duo's dismissal from the network but didn't bother to help them.

The source said, "When their scandal came out, Robin could have gone to bat for them- she had the power to do that and they thought she would. Robin had the power to save Amy and TJ, she is that powerful at ABC, and she didn't."

They also noted that Roberts could have fought for their right as "consenting adults" who were already separated from their spouses, "but she chose not to."

Robach and Roberts became good friends during their time together on "Good Morning America." The duo even bonded over a shared experience on the show in 2013. At the time, Roberts, a previous breast cancer survivor, convinced Robach to have a mammogram on live television.

She explained that doing the procedure live could inspire women all over the world to get tested as well and, therefore, protect their health in the long run. Robach later went on an interview with Cure to thank her friend for the advice after being diagnosed with breast cancer some weeks after the test.

In Robach's interview with Cure, she explained, "I found my breast cancer because of 'Good Morning America.' My colleague Robin Roberts, who is a breast cancer thriver, persuaded me to have a mammogram in front of about five million people in the middle of Times Square on live television, just to get the word out that women should go and get their mammograms."

Robach explained that the test was "much more significant" than she expected because her story inspired "dozens of women" and changed their lives. The TV star was equally overwhelmed with the love and encouragement from the public. She noted, "Yes, it was scary to be public, but I don't know how I would have gotten through it if I didn't have the support from thousands of women who were writing, emailing, texting and tweeting me. It felt beautiful."

Amid news of Roberts' upcoming nuptials, Holmes and Robach recently made their romance Instagram official and are rumored to be moving in together and even planning an engagement.
