Vanessa Hudgens Talks High Cost Of Dresses Amid Wedding Planning

Vanessa Hudgens is getting ready to walk down the aisle with Cole Tucker but the high cost of wedding dresses has got her worried. The Hollywood starlet, known for her style, is navigating the world of bridal fashion and shedding light on the enormous financial hurdle with her characteristic frankness. 

Planning a wedding is often a whirlwind of emotions and excitement, but for the model, that one aspect has taken her by surprise. The 34-year-old shared with PEOPLE during a shoot for her Caliwater campaign that she has been enjoying the wedding planning process with her partner Tucker. However, she had also discovered the many intricacies of organizing the event.

Speaking at the event held at Zuma Beach in Malibu, California, the "High School Musical" alum exclaimed, "It's wild, It's crazy, the industry of weddings." The "Sucker Punch" star mentioned that the entire wedding planning process has been "kind of mind-blowing" up to that point, mainly regarding the many decisions a bride had to make. Hudgens then further elaborated, saying:

"My best friend is getting married as well. And she's going through it and I was just like, 'My God, dresses are so expensive.' It's nuts."

Fans will recall that dating speculation between Hudgens and the 27-year-old ignited in November 2020 and after a lengthy romance, they finally took the leap into engagement in February the following year. 

After being spotted with a sizable ring during a visit to a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles, accompanied by her sister, Stella, and mother, Gina, the couple confirmed the exciting news with two pictures on Instagram. 

The first photo captured the baseball player embracing the singer, who proudly displayed her engagement ring to the camera. The lovebirds were dressed in sleek black attire and posed with the iconic Eiffel Tower faintly visible in the background. 

The second snapshot offered a close-up of the diamond ring gracing her delicate fingers, with a glowing statue in the backdrop. In the caption, the "Bad Boys for Life" actress joyfully exclaimed, "YES. We couldn't be happier ?." 

The announcement received massive support from her adoring fans in the comments. Leading the crowd was Jeremy Scott, the creative designer behind "MOSCHINO," who chimed in excitedly, "SKETCHING THE DRESS NOW!!!" while Hudgens' "Spring Breakers" co-star Ashley Benson cheered, "Love you guys."

Ever since the Broadway star and her sweetheart started their journey together, they have consistently delighted the media with heartwarming and romantic displays of affection. In fact, to celebrate Earth Day, the "Thirteen" actress shared a glimpse of how she did it with her soon-to-be husband.

The pair enjoyed a cozy, private moment, sipping drinks and sharing quality time in what appeared to be a laid-back lounge. The space featured a long, inviting V-shaped couch adorned with a medium-sized mirror hanging on the wall, surrounded by lush carpet grass and vibrant flowers. 

Hudgens wore a black hoodie and high-waisted, multi-colored pants, keeping her hair flowing naturally over her shoulders. Meanwhile, sporting his curly hair, the MLB star opted for a gray shirt and black pants.

In the first photo, the "Identified" artist smiled happily as she cozied up to the professional athlete, while the subsequent black and white snapshot captured her holding a drink. The last picture provided a detailed look at the glass, adorned with flowers and leaves, and it garnered positive feedback from her social media followers, with many complimenting her outfit and sharing their thoughts about the couple's love.
