After a long romance between the actress and the baseball player, the couple is finally engaged. Over the week, the actress sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted with a massive ring at a Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles with her sister, Stella, and mother, Gina. Shortly after putting the sparkler on display, the 34-year-old confirmed her engagement boyfriend via Instagram.

In a joint post on Instagram, the "High School Musical'' alum and her boo shared two pictures confirming that her man popped the big question. One photo showed the MLB star hugging Hudgens while she flipped her engagement finger to the camera.
The love birds modeled black ensembles, and a faint view of the iconic Eiffel Tower could be seen far in the background. The next snap shows a close-up of the diamond ring now adorning her slender hands with a statue glowing in the background.
In the accompanying caption, the theater singer exclaimed, "YES. We couldn't be happier ?." As expected, the announcement was met with a warm welcome and love from admiring fans in the comments.
"MOSCHINO" Creative designer Jeremy Scott chimed in, quoting, "SKETCHING THE DRESS NOW!!! "Love you guys," cheered the actress' Spring Breakers co-star Ashley Benson.

"CONGRATULATIONS VANESSA!! I've been waiting for this forever!!! Couldn't be happier for you!" a long-time fan wrote. Hudgens' former Disney Channel cast mate Aly Michalka also sent her well-wishes, writing, "Congrats Vanessa! ❤️ you deserve all the happiness."
Since the sweethearts started dating, they have consistently stunned the media with sweet and romantic PDA moments. Though there is no official date when Hudgens and Tucker started, it was reportedly around December 2020.
From the dates, we know they met during the pandemic, and when chatting with Drew Barrymore, the "Breaking Free" singer noted that they met over Zoom, and she slid right into his DMs immediately. In her words:
"I found him and we started talking, and yeah, it's wild that, yeah, we found each other over Zoom. I'm such a go-getter. If I want something or someone, I'm going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, 'Hey, it was nice to meet you."
By the following year, on Valentine's Day, the duo made things Instagram official with the "Cruella" actress captioning an upload of her kissing the MLB star, "It's you, it's me, it's us."
The love affair took off from there, and it was no surprise that weeks later, the Colorado Rockies outfielder gushed about his relationship, telling the news outlet that he was in love with the outstanding actress. He said, "I got a girlfriend and she's cool. She's awesome, I love her."
The pair have supported each other on red carpets, celebrated the holidays together, and created picture-perfect memories while traveling the world.
