Actor Angus Cloud may have left behind some priceless pieces of art behind when he passed away.
The 25-year-old died suddenly in his family’s home in Oakland, California, on July 31. He had been mourning the loss of his father, who had died the week before.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, his mother, Lisa Cloud, wants to be the executor of her son’s estate, since he died without a will. She noted that the estimated value of his personal property was around $1,000,000, but that wasn’t all.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Lisa Cloud estimated the value of his personal property to be around $1,000,000. She noted that the net worth’s “precise value is to be determined.” The actor was the face of several companies, such as Rockstar Energy Drinks and Ralph Lauren Polo.
She noted that several online companies are making unauthorized “print-on-demand” merchandise with his image and likeness. She is looking to sue and protect his image to prevent unauthorized individuals or companies from profiting from the late actor’s image.
"In addition, there are numerous sketchbooks of Decedent that Petitioner would like to protect, including by registering their copyrights,” the filing states. “There are likely other intellectual property rights and assets that the Decedent possessed for which the Special Administrator is needed to immediately identify and protect."
Lisa had previously spoken about the “art projects” that her son had worked on when she gave insight into his sudden death, recalling his final moments.
Lisa Cloud Recalls Her Son’s Final Moments: He ‘Fell Asleep and Didn’t Wake Up’
About a month ago, the grieving mother took to Facebook to thank fans for their support following her son’s sudden passing. “Friends, I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time. I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one,” she wrote at the time, explaining the hours leading up to his tragic death.
“He was reorganizing his room and placing items around the house with intent to stay a while in the home he loved,” she revealed. “He spoke of his intent to help provide for his sisters at college, and also help his mom emotionally and financially. He did not intend to end his life. When we hugged goodnight we said how much we loved each other and he said he would see me in the morning.”
Lisa admitted that she didn’t know “if or what he may have put in his body after that. I only know that he put his head on the desk where he was working on art projects, fell asleep and didn’t wake up.” She went on to say, “We may find out that he overdosed accidentally and tragically, but it’s abundantly clear that he did not intend to check out of this world.”
“His struggles were real. He gave and received so much love and support to and from his tribe. His work in Euphoria became a lightning rod for his generation and opened up a conversation about compassion, loyalty, acceptance and love,” she went on. “His head injury 10 years ago miraculously didn’t result in death as it almost always does. He was given 10 bonus years and filled them with creativity and love.”
“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional. I want you to know that is not the case. To honor his memory, please make random acts of kindness part of your daily life. Bless your hearts,” she concluded.
Lisa Cloud has been insistent that her son did not take her own life and it appears that there is new evidence that he may have passed away from an accidental overdose. Last month, law enforcement officials told TMZ that they were not able to find a suicide note on the premises.
Speculation that Angus Cloud may have taken his own life was fueled by the family’s statement shortly after his passing, which read: “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
