Tekashi69 isn’t taking any more chances — his trusted security team has already loaded up and flown across the country to thwart any future attempts of violence on the rapper.
The rapper previously used a Florida-based company called Shadow Security Group for a recent court appearance in Texas and the company posted a message on Sunday that they are on the way to be by his side in NYC.
“Time to Move … Should’ve Hired Us On Full-Time But That’s “Spilled Milk ?,” the company captioned in a photo showing the owner, Shamir Bolivar, at the airport heading to New York.
According to their website, Shadow Security is made up of “both law enforcement and military trained personnel.” They say their “main concern is the safety & protection of our clients / merchandise.” Looks like the next time someone tries to mess with 69 they might want to think twice.
Tekashi 69 (whose latest song,”FeFe,” has over 9 million views on YouTube already) is not the only celebrity Shadow works with — we are told they are one of the premier agencies for high-end protection.
As The Blast previously reported, the NYPD is investigating an alleged assault that took place in Brooklyn. The hip-hop star later said he was worried he was going to die.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
