Jamie Foxx Spotted On Getaway With Rarely Seen Philanthropist Girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp In Mexico

Jamie Foxx is taking some time out to bond with his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, following his recovery from a health scare in April.

The two were seen arriving for a vacation in Mexico, donning all-black outfits and walking hand in hand.

Last month, Foxx faced backlash over a post perceived by some as antisemitic, which he later apologized for and explained its context.

Per Page Six, Foxx was recently spotted out in public with his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, for a romantic getaway in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The duo have reportedly been dating since at least May 2022, after they were spotted packing on the PDA during a trip to Cannes, France.

For their Mexican vacation, the duo arrived at their chosen resort, holding hands and walking side by side in an affectionate manner. They continued in that manner as they proceeded to check into their lodge.

They were both dressed in all-black outfits, which they matched with wide-brimmed hats, shades, and white shoes.

Later on, the Huckstepp Creative CEO shed her outfit, opting for a white tank top and black shorts, perhaps for a swim in the resort pool.

In contrast, Foxx retained most of his clothing, simply removing his black sweatshirt to reveal a white crew-neck shirt. He also went to the beach to enjoy some sightseeing, bringing along a pair of binoculars.

Foxx had only recently recovered from a health scare in April, prior to heading on the getaway with his philanthropist girlfriend.

In a post on Instagram a few weeks ago, the Academy Award winner told his 17 million fans that he was finally getting back to his peak self.

"You're lookin at a man who is thankful," Foxx wrote, along with sharing a carousel of pictures of himself holding up a pair of Crocs.

He added, "Finally startin to feel like myself… it's been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light."

Foxx also shared his gratitude to his friends, fans, and family, who "reached out and sent well wishes and prayers" during the period he was away.

"U just don't know how much it meant," he went on. "I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn't know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day." Foxx penned, adding the hastags #swipeleft #imbackandimbetter #nobaddays.

A shocking health scare in April led to Foxx being hospitalized while filming in Atlanta, after which he was brought back to Chicago to recuperate in a private facility.

For months, Foxx remained silent on social media, leaving fans concerned about whether the health scare had affected his motor skills.

However, in July, he made his first public appearance during a boat trip. He then made several other public appearances before later taking to Instagram to explain why he did not give fans a visual update while he was in the hospital.

"I didn't want you to see me like that, man," Foxx said in a post on July 22. "I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or a television show. I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through."

Following his return, Foxx came under fire in August for what appeared to be an antisemitic post.

The actor wrote on Instagram, "They killed this dude name [sic] Jesus … What do you think they'll do to you?! #fakefriends #fakelove."

He subsequently deleted the post and apologized to the "Jewish community and everyone who was offended" by the comment.

"I now know my choice of words have caused offense and I am sorry. That was never my intent," the Oscar winner said in his apology post.

Foxx also gave context to why he shared the initial post, saying at the time that he was only expressing his feelings of pain and betrayal stemming from a friend's actions.

"To clarify, I was betrayed by a fake friend, and that's what I meant with 'they' not anything more. I only have love in my heart for everyone," he added.
