It looks like will.i.am is a big fan of the "Mind Your Business" remix released by David Guetta on Friday.
The Black Eyed Peas frontman released "Mind Your Business" with pop star Britney Spears in July 2023, which marked her second single following her 13-year conservatorship.

On Friday, September 1, will.i.am promoted the David Guetta remix of "Mind Your Business" on X, formerly known as Twitter. "It’s a Remix B****H… Thanks @davidguetta… This Remix is ganna rock the clubs!!!" he wrote in the caption of a short video clip of the song.
"Love the new remix!!! Great job! Is this going to be pushed more than the OG version though?" one fan asked, but there was no answer. Britney did very little promotion for the song and it failed to make the impact that "Hold Me Closer" did.
"Song is trash. Remix is trash. Sounds like a knock off Britney. And you’re the only one promoting it," another user commented, noting that Britney did not promote the remix at all, let alone the original.

Comments were also divided on the World Music Awards announcement of the new remix. “The original ate. This tho… very awful! Very, very awful!” one user commented. However, some disagreed, writing, “This remix is good tho.”
Other fans were disappointed that there wasn’t enough of the pop star. “Starring everyone except Britney,” one user wrote. One Britney fan did seem to like the song, as a Britney fan account exclaimed, “We love this!!!”
Comments seemed to be mixed throughout. “This song sucks. I love Britney but this is really bad,” another user chimed in. “Could it save the song? C’mon @davidguetta. Fix the cr*p @iamwill did,” another follower shared.
The one question that everyone seemed to be asking, though, is why Britney wasn't promoting the new remix and why she didn't go out of her way to share the original song the way that she promoted "Hold Me Closer."
Britney Spears Felt 'Overwhelmed' By Her First Post-Conservatorship Single
Britney didn't do much promotion for her second single, although she did admit that she felt "overwhelmed" by the release of her first post-conservatorship single: "Hold Me Closer" with Sir Elton John.
In a deleted Twitter post, the Princess of Pop confessed that she felt "overwhelmed" by the thought of releasing her first song in six years.
“Okie dokie … my first song in 6 years 🎶 !!!! It’s pretty d— cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time … @eltonofficial 🚀!!!!” Britney wrote at the time. “I’m kinda overwhelmed… it’s a big deal to me !!! I’m meditating more 🧘🏼♀️ and learning my space is valuable and precious !!!”
“I’m learning every day is a clean slate to try and be a better person and do what makes me happy … yes I choose happiness today,” she continued. “I tell myself every day to let go of the hurt bitterness and try to forgive myself and others to what may have been hurtful.”
“I want to be fearless like when I was younger and not be so scared and fearful,” she added. “I pray there actually is truth to the Holy Spirit and I hope that spirit is with my children as well !!! Yes … I choose happiness and joy today ☀️ !!!”
Elton John Helped The Song Would Help Her 'Confidence'
In an August 2022 interview with The Guardian around the time of the song's release, the "Tiny Dancer" singer said that he was hoping that the success of "Hold Me Closer" would give Britney the confidence to make a career comeback.
“I’m so excited to be able to do it with [Britney] because if it is a big hit, and I think it may be, it will give her so much more confidence than she’s got already and she will realize that people actually love her and care for her and want her to be happy,” he said at the time.
“She’s been away so long – there’s a lot of fear there because she’s been betrayed so many times and she hasn’t really been in the public eye officially for so long. We’ve been holding her hand through the whole process, reassuring her that everything’s going to be alright,” he added.
