The "Bigger Than Me" author held nothing back as she unveiled the shocking reason behind her split from the BET Award winner. Despite proposing to his former flame, the "Miss Independent" hitmaker's ex-fiancée said he had no plans on making her his only lady.

The latest episode of the "Haus of Aaron" podcast captured a nearly hour-long interview between the beloved host and the "So Sick" singer's former partner. During their heart-to-heart discussion, Shaw opened up about her late entry in "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" series.

According to the 43-year-old, who refused to call her ex-fiancé by his name and referred to him as the father of her children, Ne-Yo had blocked her path. Shaw said the pair had initially agreed to do the show until Ne-Yo changed his mind a few weeks later, claiming it would be detrimental to his career.

"He was like, 'No, you know my management said it's going to ruin my career,'" the social media personality revealed. "And I chose family 'cause that's what I do, you know, I'm all about family."

Reflecting on her decision to skip the reality TV program for her then-lover, the Louisiana beauty noted she would never have done so knowing Ne-Yo would break her heart. Nonetheless, the "Keep It Classy" author believed everything worked according to God's plan.

The wild narrative about the two-time AMA nominee's personality intensified when the host asked the 43-year-old to clarify if the "Sexy Love" hitmaker had cheated on her. Unsurprisingly, Ne-Yo was interested in having other sexual partners, but he did so with his ex-fiancée's consent.

"Well, you know he just — he wasn't ready, okay. So yeah, we cheated together, if that makes sense. And then it just wasn't enough, and I was like, 'Well, no. I didn't sign up to do this every day,'" the media personality confessed.

Addressing what she meant by cheating together, the Evan Grace Group founder held up three fingers, seemingly implying a threesome. "We did things together, so it's not cheating if you're involved with it," Shaw explained, leaving the host stumped by her revelation.

After describing herself as "classy but with the other side," the 43-year-old noted that she only accepted bedroom requests when she wanted. Despite her willingness to share her intimate space, the mother of two claimed it was insufficient to satisfy Ne-Yo's ever-growing demands.

"I'm just very multifaceted, and that's where I was at that time, but it became a problem when you want that, you know, a lot. Like, maybe I'll give you maybe twice a year…or three times," the Louisiana native continued.

Since the "One in a Million" hitmaker wanted more than she could give, the entertainer noted it affected her self-confidence. "I'm like, 'Oh, If you want that, you don't want me. You know, it was making it seem like I'm not enough," Shaw admitted.

Despite knowing her self-worth, the children's book author acknowledged that she lost herself after the breakup. Shaw confessed she wanted the same long-lived romance her late parents had. Alas, that dream was crushed by her alleged threesome-loving ex.

Per The Things, the exes first met in 2009 at a Jamie Foxx concert, where they hit things off and became engaged a year later. Their relationship continued for several years with two children before it suddenly ended two months before their wedding.

Some reports claimed the "Mad" singer called off their romance over the phone, a situation Shaw allegedly never expected. A year after their breakup, Ne-Yo began dating his ex-wife, Crystal Renay and was accused of breaking his engagement to be with her.
