Chris Brown is trying to get out of a lawsuit alleging he participated in imprisoning a woman and allowing her to be sexually assaulted by his friend, and now the singer is using the woman's own complaint against her to prove that he should not be wrapped up in the accusations because he had his hands full.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Brown just responded to Jane Doe, who alleged he provided cocaine and Molly to guests at his house before the alleged sexual assault occurred.
The "Left, Right" singer says Doe did not claim in her complaint that Brown ever actually touched her or physically harmed her in any way. He also points out there are no allegations that she was subjected to violence, or any threat of violence by Brown personally.
In perhaps the biggest defense of his actions, Brown says Doe pointed out that the star was "occupied with pornography and performing sexual acts with women" in another room when the attack allegedly happened. The singer claims that specific statement takes him away from the alleged incident, as he clearly had his hands full.
As we reported, Jane Doe claims Brown's friend, Lowell Grissom, was the one who actually assaulted her. However, she holds Brown responsible and believes he facilitated the unfortunate events.
The incident is still under investigation, although there has been some confusion on where exactly the case stands.
Brown does not want to wait around for officials though, and is demanding to be dismissed from the civil suit ASAP.
