Fans are starting to have a lot of questions about Josh Seiter and his fake death hoax drama.

Earlier this week, a statement from his “family” was posted on Instagram announcing that the actor had passed away following a public mental health battle, in which he was candid about his struggles with depression and past suicide attempts.

However, an ex of Josh came forward to cast doubt on his story, claiming that he had made up his own death hoax and questioning why it took him so long to correct the headlines that he had died. Josh is now speaking out, claiming that it wasn’t a “priority” to correct the false information when his account had been hacked.

Last night, an ex of Josh – “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star Monica Beverly Hillz – spoke out about the incident and claimed that the reality star is “sick in the f---ing head” and made up the whole death hoax on his own, which is why he waited so long to correct the statement.

On Wednesday, August 30, Josh appeared on TMZ Live to say that his priority was figuring out who hacked into his account instead of announcing that he was still alive. He explained that many friends and family members had reached out to him to see if the statement that he posted to his Instagram page was true.

With so many friends and family members quickly getting in the loop that he was still alive, it only leads one to ask why no one announced that he was still alive. TMZ reported that they called Josh just after the death announcement was posted, but they didn’t get called back until the following day. Family members reportedly either hung up on the outlet or said “No comment.”

Although Josh says that he understands that he is going to get criticism for the way he handled the incident, he stands firm in his story that he was hacked and claims that he is the victim of a fake death hoax, even if his ex is insisting otherwise.

On Tuesday night, Josh’s ex, Monica Beverly Hillz, told Entertainment Weekly that her fans warned her that Josh was a “clout chaser” when she first went public with their relationship earlier this month. Although they met around 2013, they fell out of touch until Josh reportedly reached out to her earlier this month to see why she was no longer following him on Instagram.

Unfortunately, their short-lived relationship seemed doomed from the start. “I was already iffy because I Googled him and I see all this negative press about him,” she explained. “To me, the internet is the internet, being from social media, I know better, don’t believe everything that you read.”

Many of her fans also warned her that he was bad news. “When I’d hear comments, I would ask him. He’d tell me that he would plant those stories on his own,” she explained, adding that the two officially broke up on Tuesday, August 22.

“That Monday, we didn’t speak at all… I wake up Tuesday to this: ‘Hey hun, I’m sorry, but I’m not good. My grandpa passed away this morning in his sleep. Heading to the airport now, my life is in shambles, and I can’t give you the time and dedication you deserve. Let’s remain friends. Thank you for being amazing,’” she recalled.

After Tuesday’s text message, Monica claims that she did not hear from him at all until the fake death hoax went up on Instagram earlier this week. She claims she found out about the news “just like everybody else” and was upset that he didn’t reach out to her to confirm that he was still alive.

“You dated me, if your s— was hacked, you should’ve called me, the first one… He knows me well enough to know I would’ve picked up the phone because I’m friends with all of my exes,” she explained.

“He has my number, to call me and say, ‘Hey, I need your help, you can release a statement saying my thing is hacked.’ He didn’t do s—, sat back, and got off on everybody freaking out and going through a thing. It’s sick in the f—ing head,” she added.

She went on to accuse him of orchestrating the death hoax for clout. “He was watching all of this and knew it got out of hand,” she said. “I’m over here crying, I hadn’t slept, crying every two minutes thinking that this is happening, and the entire time, this man is alive getting off on all of this s—.”

In an email to the outlet, Josh replied, “Those are all ridiculous accusations made up by somebody with nothing better to do with their time."
