Khloe Kardashian Slammed For Going 'Over The Top' For True's First Day Of Kindergarten

Khloe Kardashian is facing backlash for her unique parenting style!

The socialite is a proud mom of two, daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 1, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson. She often documents her parenting journey and reveals remarkable milestones with fans on social media.

However, recently, she faced criticism for throwing a lavish celebration to mark her five-year-old daughter's huge achievement.

The excited mom was over the moon as she documented her daughter True on her first day at Kindergarten with heartwarming photos. Taking to her Instagram, Kardashian announced in her caption, ''Kindergarten,'' alongside various heart emojis. She added, ''For anyone wondering, no I'm not ok! ? Next it will be prom ??.''

She further posted a carousel of adorable snaps of True and herself commemorating the happy moment. In the images, True passionately posed for the camera, wearing a white collared T-shirt and a plaid skirt, presumed to be her school uniform.

The thrilled child had a bright smile plastered on her face as she stood with her hand on her hip in front of a giant notebook poster with the words, ''First Day of Kindergarten,'' displayed in bold.

Surrounding the notebook were pastel-colored balloons and large inflatable pencils decorated to form an archway.  In subsequent slides, the doting mom posed with her daughter in her lap as the duo looked beyond pleased for the memorable occasion.

Kardashian kept on a casual display, opting for a black cropped hoodie and leggings to escort her daughter to school. The mom of two also posted a clip of the Kindergarten-themed poster to give fans a clear view of the beautiful decoration.

Although the ''Good American'' founder posted the snaps with the intent to share her joy with her 311 million followers, a handful of them expressed their displeasure over her lavish celebration.

One fan wrote, ''Why don't u send all the money of the balloons and help some poor people!?.'' Another expressed, ''These kids are never going to grow up with a single hit or normalcy. Everything will always be over the top.''

A third fan added, ''Khlo she still gonna love you even if you don't make every occasion obnoxiously expensive.'' A rather displeased fan penned, ''Always so over the top extra with this stuff. The thing is it's cute and all but they will always have to keep it this level and above for these kids. Always. They'll never know normal regular life. It's sad actually.''

One Instagram user rebuked the mom of two, writing, ''This is ridiculous, you love your kids through materialistic stuff…sad situation. Nurture your kids but at the same time teach them normalcy.

Another user echoed the same sentiment, adding, ''Ridiculous. Waste of money. Give that to the needy.'' A seventh commenter insinuated Kardashian was being insensitive with her spending. They wrote, ''This is when majority of people are trying to pay for supplies and clothes.''

A perplexed fan inquired, ''You do all this for back to school? Yikes.'' ''Clearly has too much money. Just take a pic and call her 'bundle of joy,'" chimed another user.

Meanwhile, a crude comment was dropped by a fan who wrote, ''You need to chill out and stop making such a massive song and dance over every single little thing your kid ever does she's gunna grow up to be such an entitled spoilt little sh*t who thinks the whole world revolves around her!''

Kardashian's celebratory post comes weeks after she revealed that her daughter, True, and her nephew, Psalm, broke their arms while enjoying their summer vacation. The "KUWTK" alum in her usual manner of updating fans, took to her Instagram to reveal the youngsters rocking their arm casts.

She posted three adorable photos showing True and Psalm enjoying their holiday. In the first slide, the playful children, who were barefoot, seemed unperturbed as they had their arms in a cast.

A smiling True was seen wearing a pink two-piece outfit comprising shorts and a cropped blouse that matched her arm cast. On the other hand, Psalm opted for an all-black attire, including his cast. The mom of two captioned the post, writing, ''Summer 2023. Cousin cast club – Trampoline and monkey bars – They had a ball this summer.''

Her hearty post prompted her fans to applaud her and the kids for making their summer memorable and not allowing their broken arms to get in the way of their fun.

While the 39-year-old entrepreneur is doing a fantastic job being a mother to her two kids, she is also excellently co-parents with her baby daddy Thompson. Back in June, Kardashian and Thompson reunited to attend True's pre-kindergarten graduation. 

Interestingly, Kardashian's half-sister, Kylie Jenner, and her ex-lover, Travis Scott, were also present for their daughter, Stormi, who also graduated from pre-kindergarten. 

The graduation was held on June 7 in Los Angeles, and Kardashian and Thompson were captured giving off friendly vibes as they commemorated their daughters' accomplishments.

The former couple were seen being cordial with each other during the event, sharing smiles and friendly conversations as they actively participated in True's graduation ceremony.
