Inside Keke Palmer's 'Luxurious And Lowkey' Dirty 30 Birthday

Keke Palmer rang in her 30th birthday in style.

After being so much in the public eye recently, it was no surprise that she chose to spend her day with close friends in a "luxurious & low-key" setting. The actress's party was the perfect blend of relaxation and elegance, focusing on self-care and good vibes.

Unlike her previous parties, the "Nope" star's picture upload on her Instagram page showed the simple setting devoid of boisterous activity. In the first slide, the greenery, flowers, pink and white balloons in the shape of a "Happy Birthday" and the number 30 created a serene vibe for the atmosphere. 

There were also white and black bags that presumably contained goodies for the celebrant and her guests on the gray oval table. Included in the carousel were bottles of water to keep them hydrated, more flowers, utensils, and hand towels, followed by a spa setting. 

There was also a menu, a pool filled with floats in different shapes, and a small living area filled with snacks in front of a large TV screen. In the last slide, a heart-shaped cake sporting colorful icing could be seen.

The delicacy also had berries on top and the words "Keke's Dirty 30." In the caption, the mother-of-one wrote, "Had a beautiful birthday at the @solawave house!! Luxurious and lowkey facials and massages for myself and my girls. We turned into prunes talking while in the jacuzzi all night!!"

She expressed deep gratitude to all who "made it happen," noting that their efforts created the perfect atmosphere for her to welcome her birthday with "enlightening vibes." Her fans took to the comments with well wishes and compliments, like this admirer, who called her their "favorite virgo."

A second person gushed, "An iconic birthday for a true icon! ?," while a third excitedly stated, "So happy you enjoy yourself ?." A fourth excitedly noted that she "deserves everything."

These images undoubtedly differed from those she shared earlier to mark the day. In the post, Palmer dominated Instagram by sharing pictures from a sizzling photoshoot showcasing her flawless physique. In the snaps, she wore a black leather bodysuit with heavily shadowed eyes and glossy lips.

The entire sultry ensemble was completed by covering herself in a glistening dark stained oil and wet-looking hair. The five-time NAACP Image Awards winner added an even hotter image flaunting her cheeky derrière with '3' and '0' drawn on each. 

The one that took the cake was another post that saw the "So Uncool" singer facing the camera topless but holding onto her ample bust tightly. With a smoldering look, Palmer flaunted her flat abs while pulling up the waistband of her underwear. In the caption, she simply ordered her followers to "Yield." 

In July, The Blast reported that the "Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 2" artist revealed her approach to broaching the topic with her family, highlighting the emphasis she placed on maintaining openness and honesty throughout this personal process.

On "The Best Podcast Ever with Raven and Miranda," Palmer talked about her path to self-discovery and embracing her identity as a free spirit. In the conversation with Raven, who went through her own coming out in 2013, she shared: 

"There was a moment in my life where I was like ya know, can I be myself? The moment where you overthink sh*t. That's not even me, why am I overthinking this? I guess you just get to the point where I want my life to be my own life."

The "Just Keke" host noted that although her parents never showed disapproval of being gay while she was growing up, there was an underlying, unspoken aspect regarding the topic. Palmer also disclosed that at 17, she desired to "explore her life," which she did after years of suppressing her emotions.

The "Cold Case" guest star observed that her parents never broached the subject of sexuality or related issues because it did not concern them. She added, "And I know that by the time they saw how free of a spirit I was, and whoever I wanted to date, they were like, 'Whoever cares.' It was never anything that was in their mind."
