Adele, 35, recently shared that she experienced a sciatica attack, causing her to collapse backstage during her Las Vegas residency.

According to The Sun, the "Hello" hitmaker informed her fans at The Colosseum about the incident, revealing that a production team member discovered her inability to move due to the flare-up. Adele allegedly recounted, "They picked my whole body up off the floor."

Additionally, during her "Weekends With Adele" performance, the Grammy-winning singer revealed she had to "sit down and rest [her] sciatica."

Sciatica, a back condition usually caused by a "herniated disk in the spine" per the Mayo Clinic, can lead to shooting pains and cramping, rendering someone unable to walk due to pressure on the sciatic nerve from the lower back to the foot.

Since her return to the spotlight after her 2019 divorce, Adele's image has been a prominent topic of discussion. She openly talked about the connection between her physical health and anxiety.

The singer reflected on the significant improvement in her well-being post-weight loss, revealing, "I'm happy now... I'm more agile because I can now move more because of my back. I got my core strong..."

She recounted past struggles with back pain, noting that her first disc slipped at 15 due to a sneeze, and later issues arose from a C-section. These problems persisted for nearly half her life and often flared up due to stress or posture.

However, her back pain has eased since strengthening her core, especially the lower part. This change has enabled her to be more active with her child.

During her Las Vegas residency, Adele playfully attempted to emulate Beyoncé by taking on the "everybody on mute" challenge. In a moment during her "Weekends With Adele" show, the songstress decided to give the challenge a shot. However, things didn't quite go as planned.

Adele humorously acknowledged her misstep as she told the audience, "You f***ing failed miserably." She reminded them that when she sings "everybody on mute," silence should endure.

She even referenced a recent Beyoncé concert in Atlanta where a similar challenge had gone awry, playfully sharing her amusement at the parallel. "Atlanta failed miserably. There was a video of them this morning!" she said. "And everyone was like, 'wah!"
