Dennis Shields Talked About Dating Bethenny Frankel Days Before Death

"Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel's on-again, off-again boyfriend talked about his complicated relationship with the reality star days before he was pronounced dead.

Talking to Mitchell Chadrow on the "Listen Up Show" podcast, recorded on Saturday, Dennis Shields enlightened fans about his history with Frankel by saying, "About four weeks ago we were still together." He cracked a joke about how often they break up before revealing a recent story where he googled Bethenny because he was "checking to see how our relationship was doing."

Throughout the interview, he praises the "RHONY" star, who he claims to have been dating for several years. Shields admired Frankel for being a "great mom," and boasted about her humanitarian work.

Eerily, Shields even talks about his time living in Trump Tower, saying, "it's an experience" and "never dull."

As The Blast reported, Shields was found dead in his NY apartment Friday morning at Trump Tower from a suspected overdose.
