Dean McDermott Allegedly Frustrated With Tori Spelling, Hates Being 'Made To Look Like The Bad Guy'

According to the Daily Mail, Dean McDermott, the estranged husband of actress Tori Spelling, is becoming increasingly frustrated with the public exposure of their rumored separation.

Insiders who spoke to the publication indicated that McDermott is expressing dissatisfaction over Spelling's decision to openly discuss their personal struggles.

"Dean is at his wits end when it comes to Tori, even when he feels bad for her, he questions what she is doing next," the source said.

The couple's history dates back to their meeting on the set of "Mind Over Murder" in 2005, and they officially tied the knot a year later.

Recently, on June 16, McDermott took to Instagram to announce their split after 18 years of marriage. However, the post was swiftly deleted, confusing fans about the current state of their relationship.

More insiders have shed light on McDermott's growing concerns about Spelling's actions. As the couple continues to attract attention and generate headlines due to their personal challenges, McDermott's focus is primarily directed toward their children's well-being.

"Dean's main focus all along has been being a great father," a source revealed to the Daily Mail. "He loves his kids so much and wants the absolute best for them and will fight tooth and nail for them and wanted to do that with Tori, but living with Tori became a chore."

The insider added, "Now with Tori's living arrangements, health concerns, and drama-charged life, Dean is trying to navigate through it all and be there for her and the kids through the tough times and to steer clear when Tori is being Tori. It has been a bunch of hoops that there seems to be no end in sight."

Spelling's recent actions and hospitalization for an undisclosed ailment have raised concerns about her well-being. The actress's recent admission to a hospital adds an extra layer of difficulty to her already challenging marital and living situation.

Despite not revealing the exact reason for her hospitalization, the wristband Spelling wore in a photo she shared on her Instagram stories indicated she was admitted on August 17. Interestingly, the day prior, the reality star was seen working on an undisclosed project in Los Angeles.

This situation follows a previous forced move in May, prompted by a severe mold infestation in their home. Afterward, the "Saved by the Bell" actress and her five kids briefly stayed at a roadside $100 motel before relocating to a trailer.

Sources suggest that Spelling and McDermott are at odds about how to manage their current state. The "Open Range" actor prefers to maintain privacy, while Spelling is allegedly inclined to share their situation publicly, potentially seeking empathy from others.

"They can't get on the same page, and it looks to Dean that she doesn't want the help which is very frustrating. There is going to be more of the same in the immediate future and Dean hates it because he doesn't want to be looked at as the bad guy," the insider shared, per Daily Mail.

Although Spelling has refrained from disclosing the exact nature of her recent ailment, she has discussed how multiple of her five children have been in and out of the hospital since January, attributing the cause to an ongoing mold issue in their residence.

Taking to Instagram in May, the "Beverly Hills 90210" alum addressed the problem, saying, "Let's talk about MOLD. Here we are again at Urgent Care. We've all been on this continual spiral of sickness for months. Sick. Get better. To get sick again."

She continued, "Used to think … well that's what happens when you have young kids in school. They just continually bring sicknesses home. We now know that when the house was labeled a health hazard and not live able [sic] that wording was FACT. We now GET IT."

"Our troubles are next level with our mold problem and the house that's been slowly killing us for 3 years," the mom of five concluded.
