On July 8, Spelling was spotted leaving a modest motel in the Los Angeles area along with her five children, all of whom are currently staying with her. According to the insider, "Tori and Dean are doing good and her staying at a hotel with their kids has nothing to do with a separation."

In May, Spelling also spoke out about the seriousness of the toxic fungus, stating that it had been "slowly killing" her family for three years.
