Although Fans are mourning the death of Bob Barker, who passed away in his sleep at the age of 99, resurfaced clips showcasing the late icon's wit have made it more bearable for them.

The renowned TV personality is best known for his role as the host of the game show "The Price Is Right." His death comes after he battled several health issues in recent years, some of which required him to be hospitalized.

Resurfaced Clip Showcases Bob Barker's Timeless Humor

The news of Bob Barker's death has devastated fans all over the world, with many trooping to social media to mourn him. But a newly resurfaced clip has lessened the blow of the TV host's passing.

A video shared on TikTok showcasing Barker's timeless humor featured the late legend acting out a scene with "Grown Ups" star Adam Sandler in a hospital setting. 

The three-minute clip, which started off with a casual conversation between the pair, quickly descended into chaos, with Barker and Sandler fighting each other in the most outrageous ways possible. 

At some point in the skit, Barker poured his supposed urine on Sandler's head and then proceeded to guzzle a vial seemingly containing the Ebola virus, which he spat all over the actor's face.

The skit ended with Barker and Sandler dying and going to heaven, where they continued their hilarious tussle.

In a reaction to the funny video, one fan wrote, "Oh my God! This was fantastic!!! RIP Bob, you'll be missed." Another commented, "RIP Bob... Thanks for entertaining me as a kid at home playing sick to get outta school."

"Bob was a truly nice guy with a great sense of humor. RIP Bob and thanks for the memories."

A fourth fan added, "OMG, this made me feel better, I loved Bob so much."

Over on X (formerly Twitter) a fan commented on how he grew up watching the iconic television personality, who is widely recognized for his role as the beloved host of "The Price Is Right."

The fan stated, "So many memories of watching Bob with my Granny, I loved when [people] play the Cliff Hanger.. I always wanted the guy to fall off, that was my pleasure. Rip Bob Barker."

A second person commented, "In true Price Is Right style, Bob Barker got as close to 100 without going over. Truly a Legend," while a third said, "Was a complete legend. May he rest in peace. One of the all-time greats."

Others also said they would continue to push his message about controlling the pet population.

Barker reportedly passed away in his sleep at his Hollywood Hills residence at the age of 99.

The news of his passing was shared by Roger Neal, who acted as his publicist during two periods: from 1987 to 1994 and then again in 2020. He made the announcement on behalf of Barker's girlfriend, Nancy Burnet.

"It is with profound sadness that we announce that the World's Greatest MC who ever lived, Bob Barker, has left us," Neal said in a statement.

Burnet wrote about Barker's work as an animal rights activist in a separate statement.

She said, "I am so proud of the trailblazing work Barker and I did together to expose the cruelty to animals in the entertainment industry and including working to improve the plight of abused and exploited animals in the United States and internationally. He will be missed."

He Had Health Issues In The Last Few Years

Although Barker's cause of death is assumed to be natural, his last years were marked by health concerns that required medical attention.

In June 2017, he suffered a fall at his home, hitting his head and leading to a hospital visit for a concussion. Following his release a few days later, he temporarily stepped back from hosting "The Price Is Right" and eventually retired from the show several months later.

In 2018, an ambulance and the fire department responded to a 911 call at his residence, which turned out to be a non-emergency back issue. Additionally, in January 2019, paramedics were summoned to his house after a fall, although hospitalization wasn't necessary in that instance.

Before achieving his renowned veteran status, Barker started his journey in the entertainment industry as a radio announcer in the 1940s. Transitioning to television in the 1950s, he hosted iconic game shows like "Truth or Consequences" and "The Gong Show."

In 1972, Barker took the helm of "The Price Is Right," a role he held until retiring in 2007. He also served as emcee for the Miss Universe and Miss America pageants for two decades and started an equally enduring tradition as the New Year's Day Tournament of Roses Parade host in 1969.

Beyond his professional life, he was a fervent supporter of animal rights, championing the cause for the Humane Society of the United States. He was once married to Dorothy Jo Gideon, whom he met at an Ella Fitzgerald concert in 1944.
