Mariah Carey is now one step closer to facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit from her former manager.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Carey's doorman was served with a summons by Stella Bulochnikov, who worked with Mariah for years and was featured on her reality show.

A process server for Bulochnikov tried several times to serve Carey with the summons but "the doorman would not call up to the apartment saying that he knew Ms. Carey was not home." Finally, on the third attempt, the server simply left the documents with the doorman.

Bulochnikov is also prepping to sue Roc Nation because she believes they interfered with her joint venture with Mariah — which was going to produce movies and TV shows — which was worth $50 million. Aug. 14 11:00 AM PT — A rep for Mariah tells The Blast, "We don’t have a clue whether a doorman did or didn’t receive mail or a summons. We understand that the doorman did, however, receive a couple of UPS packages and a tenant left a note for him asking him to pick up a quart of milk at Gristedes."

A source tells The Blast that papers were given to a receptionist, which is not a valid way to serve someone. So, as of Tuesday morning ... Mariah has not officially been served the documents.
