'Foul Play Is Suspected' In Death Of Instagram Influencer Beauty Couch

Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old Instagram influencer in Austell, Georgia.

The body of Beauty Couch was found near a burned vehicle in Austell on Wednesday morning.

The popular roller-skating influencer, with more than 150,000 followers, often shared videos of her skating on the social media app.

The Austell Fire Department responded to a call for a "brush fire" on Wednesday morning according to a statement from the Cobb County Police Department, and "upon arrival, they located a vehicle fully engulfed in flames."

Police were dispatched to the address listed on the vehicle's registration and learned that the owner's adopted daughter, who "most commonly drove the vehicle" was missing since Tuesday morning.

Police searched the area that the vehicle was found and located a body that matched the description of Beauty. The statement released added that "foul play is suspected" based on the initial investigation.

Alex Hayes with the Austell Police Department said that if they didn't go back to check for more clues after finding the burned vehicle, they may have never found her body.

"And if the car wasn't set on fire, it could've been years before it was found," Hayes added.

Beauty's biological mother told WSB-TV that her daughter was "a sweet girl" who didn't bother anyone.

"She never bothered nobody. She was a friend to everybody," Kimberly Couch said. "She loved going skating. She loved going to work. She loved her clothes. She loved wearing her hair so pretty."

Kimberly said that losing her daughter means a piece of her is now gone.

"They took a part of my life from me. They took a part of my heart," she said. "I want them to pay for what they did to my baby."

A few days before Beauty was found, she shared a carousel of photos on Instagram captioned, "He said I look good in red, might as well call me sexy redd.❤️"

On a post she shared a few days prior, many of her followers left their condolences in the comment section.

"She seemed like she lit up the room, I bet she was nice. May she rest in peace ?️," one follower wrote. Another shared, "I can’t believe that your gone, life is so precious and to be cherished and you understood that. Every time I skate from now on I'm gonna hold your spirit so close. Sleep in paradise beauty, my high school friend. ? #justiceforbeauty"

A pinned post about a skating class Beauty taught in July 2022, also became a place for friends and followers to leave their condolences for the young influencer.

"This was just the worst type of news, had to find out threw comments on other skate pages, May justice be found for her and her loved one's peace! ❤️ May her beautiful soul rest! I’m forever a fan!" one person wrote.

Another said, "I’m so sorry about the death of Beauty. Horrific. I hope for peace for you. And Karma for whoever did this to you."
