Jada Pinkett Smith's hair is blossoming after years of struggling with alopecia, a condition she has always been open about.

In one of her latest social media posts, she proudly showcased her growing hair, highlighting her bold new look while gearing fans up for her upcoming memoir, "Worthy." 

The autobiography is set to be released this fall alongside a series of memoirs from fellow celebs, including Britney Spears, whose book Smith is looking forward to reading.

On Instagram, the "Matrix" actress filmed herself sporting full platinum gray hair, expertly styled in waves, a far cry from her formerly bald head. She also wore a velvet zip-up pullover with the sun rays reflecting on her as she greeted her millions of followers and announced the release of her memoir "Worthy" on October 17.

"So I was like, I wanna start sharing some of the process with you that it took to write this book," Smith further shared. "Not only has it been emotionally tasking, but it has been really technical."

She clarified that it is "technical" to write any book before echoing her intentions to divulge "some of the process" she went through with her "magnificent" editor, Carrie Thornton, and her co-author Mim.

The 51-year-old movie star conveyed more fantastic news to her fans while expressing interest in checking out other celebs' books coming out this fall, including Spears.' In her words:

"And yesterday, I found out I'm on the Times Most Anticipated Books for the fall along with Carrie Washington, who I can't wait to read her book, as well as Barbra Streisand and Britney Spears."

She then concluded, "I'm gonna read all of those books. So, we have some good reading this fall, everybody, so stay tuned. I'm gonna start sharing all of this content from my chapters as well as the process."

Smith tagged HarperCollins and Dey Street Books on the video, and in the caption, she wrote, "Process … is everything❣️," adding the hashtags #IamYouareWeareWorthy and #ourworthyjourney.

Fans were certainly anticipating the upcoming release as they voiced so in the comments section, including one who raved, "I can't wait for the world to read #Worthy!! It's sooo good! 🙌👏❤️.” A second expressed, "Looking forward to it ❤️" and a third followed: "[Come] on with it! I can't wait! 💛" while a fourth commenter added, "Yes please."

This will not be the first time the "Set It Off" actress will publicly flaunt her hair growth as she did so earlier this month via Instagram, using images from her "past" and "present."  The past version featured a bald Smith smiling at the camera, rocking a diamond necklace and white jacket, while the then-present one emphasized her growing hair, colored platinum blonde.

Taking to the caption, she proclaimed, "This here hair is act'n like it's try'n a make a come back. Still have some trouble spots, but — we'll see." Struggling with alopecia has never stopped the "Scream 2" star from being genuine about it both on and off social media.

The condition, which is a medical term for baldness, causes hair loss and balding spots on the scalp. It also has no cure or long-term treatment. Nevertheless, Smith's hair growth is a sign of hope, despite the controversy — her husband slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars — it has created.

Months before announcing the release of her upcoming memoir, Smith had an exclusive interview with PEOPLE where she discussed the book and her book tour. She explained that writing the book was a way for people to know more about her journey and clear up the assumptions and false narratives about her.

The "Girls Trip" actress elaborated, "Yeah. I think people have made a lot of assumptions. And you know what? Rightfully so."

"I have to take ownership of that in regards to the narrative that I've participated in, the falsehoods about myself," she added. "In the book, I really explain all of that extensively as part of my reclamation journey."

Smith also disclosed why she chose the book title, saying everyone's journey, including hers, is worthy, and she "wanted to write about my journey to self-worth in a real way."
