Kroy Biermann Files To End Marriage With Zolciak
It seems Zolciak and Biermann are truly over this time, as their marriage is headed for divorce again after trying to patch things up following their previous attempt at legally separating.
According to court documents, Biermann, who filed the legal petition, is requesting full custody of their four children, Kaia Rose, Kane Ren, Kash Kade, and Kroy Jagger, as their marriage is "irretrievably broken."
Biermann also wants child support "exclusive" and "permanent" use of their marital home.
Kroy Biermann Is Seeking For Child Support
Biermann is looking to be awarded child support in his divorce from Zolciak. A statement from the legal document reads, "Petitioner [Biermann] shows that child support should be awarded on a temporary and permanent basis for the support of the minor children in accordance with the child support guidelines..."
The document further states that Biermann wants to gain "exclusive" use of their marital home. It reads, "Petitioner [Biermann] should he should be awarded exclusive, temporary and permanent use of the marital residence..."
It continues, "Petitioner [Biermann] shows that Respondent [Zolciak] should be restrained and enjoined from coming about the marital residence after she vacates."
The legal filing also notes that the former NFL player is "entitled to an award of reasonable and necessary attorneys' fees and expenses of litigation."
They Tried To Make Things Work
Biermann and Zolciak seemed to be on the road to reconciliation after previously calling off their first divorce filing.
The family put on a united front on July 2nd after they were seen going to church together on a Sunday, which led to the speculation that the warring couple was trying to patch things up.
As reported by The Blast, Zolciak eventually filed the paperwork requesting it be dismissed "without prejudice," with Biermann following suit, as he also had his own divorce paperwork.
Biermann and Zolciak's divorce drama lasted almost two months and saw several public fights between the couple, one being when Biermann accused his estranged wife of kidnapping.
Kim Zolciak Requested A Drug Test For Kroy Biermann
The couple's kids seemed to be caught in the midst of their rocky relationship as Zolciak previously filed a request for Biermann to be drug tested for alleged smoking around their children.
Not backing down, Biermann fired back at Zolciak with his own allegations, claiming, per US Weekly, that the former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has an extreme gambling problem that leaves her "unable to properly care for the children." He then further requested Zolciak undergo a psychological evaluation.
Replying to Biermann's claims, the reality TV star's lawyer said in a statement to US Weekly, "It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run."
It continued, "To continuously spread lies in an attempt to paint Kim as an unfit mother for his own gain is harmful and incredibly misleading regarding Kim’s efforts to raise her children."
Zolciak's lawyer also stated that she has "always been an extremely devoted mother" and that her kids are her "entire world."
"She refuses to allow Kroy to paint her as something she is not for his own gain. Kim looks forward to the day we can appear in court and solve these issues once and for all," the statement concluded.
