At an upscale Manhattan gathering, the scandal-plagued personality reportedly mentioned shedding pounds with the help of the diabetic drug. All of this was reported to have happened during a birthday celebration for Park Magazine publisher Chris Pape at the upscale restaurant Bice.

A source informed Page Six that Santos, who was in attendance revealed, "I've dropped 92 pounds using Ozempic over the past eight months." They also highlighted that he acknowledged his pharmacist partner's concerns about the medication.

However, the 35-year-old remained resolute, confidently sharing that he had successfully "lost nearly 100 pounds" with the drug's assistance. The outspoken politician also supposedly boasted about his jiu-jitsu skills.

When a partygoer playfully suggested that Santos could engage in a "cage match" with his political rival Senator Mitt Romney, reminiscent of tech moguls Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. He reportedly said:

"I'd do that, but it wouldn't be fair as I'm Brazilian, and I'd beat his butt because I studied jiu-jitsu for five years."

When contacted, the publication affirmed that a spokesperson for Santos refrained from commenting on the alleged use of Ozempic. However, they confirmed that he was present at the event, although he was unaware that it was a birthday celebration.

They also confirmed that the controversial politician recalled the mentioned joke and added that he "participated in Brazilian jiu-jitsu as a young man."

In May, the former employee of HotelsPro, whose public persona has been marred with controversy, reportedly faced increased challenges in charges brought against him by both the FBI and the Justice Department.

CNN reported that public integrity prosecutors from New York and Washington agencies are probing allegations related to false statements in his campaign finance reports and other matters.

In his brief tenure as a representative, Santos has faced allegations of misconduct, including violating campaign finance regulations, masterminding a credit card fraud scheme, and providing false information about his education and work history.

After he was confronted with a string of federal charges, the comedian did not pull any punches in addressing the case, quickly taunting him through a social media post. Sporting a bold black graphic T-shirt, the "Will & Grace" guest star sat before her camera playfully ended a pretend phone call before sharing:

"I just got off the phone with the bail bondsman because I heard from a little birdie, the DOJ, that our girl, George Santos, has just been charged with [a] 13-count federal indictment. A 13 count!"

Handler humorously highlighted the Republicans' mixed emotions in response to the situation, -- while saddened by the possibility of one of their members facing prison, they were "just happy to see a drag queen suffer."

The "Chelsea Lately" host revealed that the lawmaker, known for adopting different names and identities, had to hand over his passport to authorities. This action likely meant he would miss next year's Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Afterward, the "Masked Singer" participant aired a clip of Santos labeling his ongoing criminal case a "witch hunt." As excerpts from Donald Trump supporters' statements using the same phrase displayed above her head, she responded, "It's like if there was an AI program for Republican criminals called ChatGOP. No, the reality is, you're a criminal, so slide into some kitten heels because we're just getting started."

Subsequently, she expressed her eagerness for the congressman's trial, playfully referring to it as a "drag queen story hour." The 2009 Bravo A-List Award winner signed off with a parting quip, saying, "Bye, girl. Or is it Adios? I can't keep track of what alias you're using these days. Byeee."
