Tara Reid Says She Did NOT Apologize for Bailing on 'Sharknado' Press Tour: 'Why Would I Write That?'

Tara Reid is now backpedaling on her backpedaling, saying her apology for cutting her "Sharknado" press tour short "due to some back issues" didn't actually come from her.

Last Friday, following some bizarre interviews, Reid bailed on a scheduled stop and later tweeted blaming the fumble on back issues (which has since been deleted).

Photogs caught the actress on Sunday night in Los Angeles leaving the "Sharknado" premiere party and Tara claimed the confusing apology didn't even come from her. She says another person has access to her social media accounts, adding, "It made no sense, why would I write that?"

As we previously reported, the actress capped off a full morning of slurring her way through a couple of concerning interviews by leaving NYC before a scheduled appearance on AOL Build Series with “Sharknado” co-star Ian Ziering.

The real reason Reid bailed remains unclear.
