Sofia Vergara Shows Love To Howie Mandel After He Cheers On Her Single Life On 'AGT'

Sofia Vergara is forging on with her newly found single life and doesn’t mind her co-judge Howie Mandel joking about it! 

It is no news that in July, the “Modern Family” star announced her split from her husband of seven years, Joe Manganiello. Since the separation, the mom of one has been basking in her new relationship status.

Hence, when her colleague Mandel playfully addressed her situation in a recent episode of “America’s Got Talent,” Vergara was the least offended. Instead, she sweetly showered love on Mandel!

The 51-year-old TV personality proclaimed utter love for her co-judge in a post dedicated to him on her Instagram. She uploaded a selfie featuring him and sweetly captioned it, “Luv U,” and tagged her colleague to it.

In the shot, which appeared to be taken on set “AGT,” the twosome flashed for the camera, proving it’s nothing but genuine love between them.  The sweet post comes hours after Mandel playfully addressed Vergara’s new single life during Tuesday’s live episode of “America's Got Talent.”

From the clip posted on Twitter, it followed that competitor Brynn Cummings gave a ventriloquist act in which she asked Heidi Klum to help pick an eligible bachelor for her Lovebird puppet.

After enjoying the performance, Mandel commented on Brynn's talents. He then advised the young ventriloquist, referencing Vergara’s new single life. He said, “I have one more piece of advice for you: if you're looking for eligible bachelors, you should've talked to Sofía because she's in the market right now."

Mandel’s comment caused the “Madea Goes To Jail” star to laugh and cheer loudly, throwing her hands into the air. Host Terry Crews interfered in the conversation, telling the judges, "No, we're not doing that here!"

The 67-year-old stand-up personality isn’t the only one who has commented on Vergara’s single life. Her "Modern Family" co-star Julie Bowen recently disclosed she was cheering the “Chasing Papi” star on in her single-woman era.

In an interview, she gushed about the Colombian native’s attributes, saying, “Everything she does, she does with grace. And she rises above, and she just goes forward. She's warm and generous and giving to everybody around her.”

Bowen declared, “I have no doubt that if she wishes to be in a relationship, she will be, but she sure doesn't need one.'' 

Last month, The Blast documented more details about Vergara and Manganiello’s divorce, highlighting that the “Meet The Browns” star agreed on a prenup. The existence of this kind of agreement possibly signified that the separation was amicable.

The documents revealed that the “Modern Family” star confirmed they had been married for seven years and separated on July 2, 2023. Additionally, she stated that any spousal support paid by either famous party should be “pursuant to the terms of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement.” Simply put, she concurred with everything her estranged husband addressed in his divorce filing.

Although the details of the prenup were not included in the filing, it is seemingly an agreement that the now-separated couple keep their individual assets. The media sensation further asked the court to confirm her ownership of “miscellaneous jewelry, artwork, and other personal effects” along with “earnings and accumulations” that belonged to her before and during the marriage. 

Recall that the ex-couple announced their divorce on July 18, 2023, with a joint statement. The statement read, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for the respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.” 

A source close to the duo additionally shed light on the state of things between them. The insider explained, “Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now and are taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.” Before the announcement, rumors of the former couple’s separation swirled after Vergara was seen living her best life without her husband. 

“When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them,” she captioned one vacation post. Several fans quickly noted the absence of her husband. One fan asked, “Is anyone else wondering where’s Joe?” with another adding, “Wondering where her husband is, he hasn’t shown up in any of the photos of videos.”
