New information has now come to light regarding Tori Spelling's stay in the hospital. The "Scary Movie 2" actress was hospitalized for four days amid her RV living situation with her five kids and her rift with ex Dean McDermott.
Fans have been in the dark about the cause of the hospitalization. However, they are aware that Spelling and the children, Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6, were forced to move out of their home earlier this summer due to a severe mold infestation.
Now it seems that the mold condition may have done much more harm than imagined.
Tori Spelling Was Hospitalized Because She Was 'Still Dealing With Getting Sick' Amid 'Mold Issue'
Multiple sources disclosed that Spelling's hospitalization is connected to her "mold issue" at her L.A. rental home.
According to one insider who spoke to US Weekly, "Tori is frustrated she's still dealing with getting sick. She thought moving out [of the house] would be the solution, but these issues obviously linger for much longer."
Fans would recall that before Spelling and her kids vacated their mold-infested home, the 50-year-old actress revealed that the condition had negatively affected her family's health. She shared on Instagram in May, "Here we are again at Urgent Care. We've all been on this continual spiral of sickness for months. Sick. Get better. To get sick again."
Spelling added that she knew something was wrong and had to "reassess what was going on" when her brood kept getting sick more than being in school, especially considering their age.
A second informant stressed that the health predicament was one of the many difficulties the "A Friend to Die For" star has endured recently, alongside her living conditions, financial problems, and marital crisis.
"Tori has been to hell and back the past few months," the source said. "She's been running on empty for such a long time. It's just been one problem after another."
As fans worry about Spelling and her kids' living situation as well as if she and McDermott will ever get back together, the insider noted that the mother-of-five is in a "very tight" spot but will overcome. In their words, "There's so much up in the air, including where she's going to live and how things are going to play out with Dean. But Tori's a fighter, and she's vowing to pull through this and come out stronger."
The source also mentioned that the "Stori Telling" author has to "get her health back on track again." News of Spelling's scary hospitalization circulated when she took to her Instagram on Sunday, August 20 to reveal she was admitted for an unknown ailment.
She shared a picture of her hand hooked up to an IV, with a band on her wrist showing she was admitted on August 17. In an attached note, the "Trick" star divulged that it was her fourth day in the hospital, and she missed her children "so much."
She also penned, "Grateful and so proud of my strong, brave, resilient, and kind to the core children who remain positive no matter what comes my way."
A day after the post, she was discharged, and as seen in images and Spelling who donned casual clothing was seen with bruises on her face and arms. The "Kiss the Bride" actress appeared "distraught" and "unsteady" as she was led to a black SUV in a wheelchair. Additionally, she needed assistance to stand up.
Upon entering the vehicle's backseat, she hugged a masked female, supposedly a nurse, escorting her.
The 'Uncharted TerriTORI' Author Called Out A Realtor For Mocking Her Family's Housing Crisis
As distressing as Spelling's housing trouble is, a realtor, Robert Vinson, once poked fun at the situation, which the "90210" alum did not take lightly. She bashed him on her Instagram Story after sharing their text exchange.
In the screenshot, Vinson sent the prominent movie star a message without knowing he was actually texting her as he disparaged her housing problems, calling it "amusing."
Spelling was disappointed in the realtor's lack of empathy as one of her replies read, "This is Tori Spelling. Wow! Human empathy and kindness prevail. Kids in crisis is amusing."
She did not stop there but added a text overlay, proclaiming, "Shame on you, Robert Vinson @vinsongroup real estate!" for mocking her and her children's dire position.
